I'm pretty sure the games won't be blacked out for out of area league pass. The NBA has the right to pull all the broadcasts for league pass, minus the national televised games on ESPN, TNT, and ABC.

No, they won't. If you're in Northern California, that's considered to be out of the Lakers' local market, so the games will not be blacked out. I can answer that definitively.

Yeah, I hadn't seen anything saying that. It's the people that live in the LA market that are being screwed. But like you said, I think it'll all get done in time.

IMO, there ain't no f**king way Kobe misses this game. I'm not saying he doesn't have an injury, but he's gonna play. I'll be dumbfounded if he sits it out.

I think he may miss the 2nd game, which is the back to back in portland. But he's still got too much Kobe in him to miss this game.

Man, me and my girl can't wait for the season to start tomorrow. This is going to be exciting season. So far it looks like Triple OG is leaning towards playing tonite after doing all the workouts today. Yes Kobe is tough as nails and we love him for it, but he needs to learn to sit games now when he is hobbled and not quite 100% especially now with the additions of Nash and Howard on board to pick up the slack.

Knowing Kobe though, He Gonna Play Tonite!

May have been. He seriously looked dangerously skinny. Not sure why he wanted to lose weight? Seems like he has always been in good shape

He lost the weight to take away some stress on his bad knees. The Last time he did this he won the MVP.
