i think the griz are contenders, doe. I think it's either them, lakers, or spurs coming out the west.

Also I remember ( i think) crzy saying we should amnesty David Lee a while back. I said the idea was stupid but it really doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. The guy is not worth 14 mill per a year for the next 4 years. I think he's just an above average PF. Really nothing special. His rebounding #s were overblown due to not having a legit center to grab some boards the last couple of years. We have him for another 4 years at 14 mill per year..
Beidrin's contract is terrible but at least it ends after next season. Who knows maybe he's stupid enough to decline the player option after this season
still makes me cringe that we used our amnesty clause on an expiring contract of $3 million

had some hope that Rush's injury wasn't going to be too bad but it sounds like its worse than I thought
Marcus Thompson @gswscribe
A melancholy Stephen Curry: "His initial reaction said it all." ... Carl Landry didn't want to talk and Jarrett Jack got emotional
Marcus Thompson @gswscribe
Just saw a photo of the injury. Rush was facing the GSW bench, his knee was facing the basket #PoorGuy
Marcus Thompson @gswscribe
Randolph: "It really threw me off. ... I went over to his locker room and told him I'm sorry ... I'm there for him with whatever he needs."
Matt Steinmetz @MSteinmetzCSN
No real surprise but inside #Warriors locker room there's sense Brandon Rush's injury is pretty serious.
Ric Bucher @RicBucher
No official report on Brandon Rush until MRI tomorrow, but it will be an anatomical miracle if he didn't blow a knee ligament.

He looked REALLY good that 1st game too. Gonna miss his 45% 3 pt percentage
And it's gonna have a big impact on our rotation.
Now Klay will be play SF more, Curry at SG and Jack at PG. Klay can't guard the better SFs though. They did it today and it didn't work that well.
This sucks
Marcus Thompson @gswscribe
The problem with the three-guard lineup down the stretch: Klay can't guard the better SFs
And very questionable that Mark Singletary put Lee late in the game when Landry was clearly outplaying him. He didn't have the guts to bench Lee for Landry.

Ezeli looks like a good draft pick. he's filling out the stat sheet and when he learns to finish, he should be fun to watch.

Agree, guy has alot of skill, Barnes will come around, Klay Thompson looked terrible at the beginning of last season also, just needs to get used to the speed of the NBA.

Devastating blow losing Rush for the entire season.
The short unattractive list of available G/F's who could maybe fill B.Rush's role off the bench if the W's so choose to sign someone.
Of the 5 listed, Damien Wilkins is the one player on the list who closest resembles Rush.
The W's could also choose to go in-house, but the options aren't all that attractive with Richard Jefferson and rookie Draymond Green. Fortunately we have some depth on the bench. And Mark Jackson could use a number of combinations with S.Curry, J.Jack, K.Thompson, H.Barnes and both of the aforementioned Jefferson and Green. It'll be interesting to see who steps up off the bench as the season progresses.

Really sad about Rush, and just typical of what seems to happen to this franchise. That wasn't a good effort last night, especially at home. Tonight will be a tough matchup for the Warriors.

Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan will have a field day vs us without Bogut
Bogut isn't playing at all today..

Yep. Hard to imagine the Warriors winning tonight. Losing Rush is an absolute killer.
