You guys overlook Notre Dame's defense. I'd love to see them play Alabama in the National Championship game. Notre Dame's front 7 is no joke and watching them go up against Alabama's line and rushing attack would be quite the battle.

Should have could have would have....did not. Even if Taylor scores, the game goes to another OT. So...Stanford "should have" beat us is a statement to discuss with Stanford fans. Another OT does not mean Stanford wins. We won that game, the final play was ruled dead before Taylor crossed over. Game over, end of story.

Purdue, Michigan St and Michigan are all rivalries and always tough games which both teams want to win so badly. Miami was averaging 35 PPG when they came to Chicago and we held them to 3. And teams like Michigan and Michigan State, much like the fans, thought they themselves were much better teams when we played them at that point in the season.

But by all means, please keep sleeping on us just like everyone else is. We love it, proving the doubters wrong is fun. I'm sure all the excuses will come back out if we go to and win the NC...somehow someway the haters will find ways to hate.

We are the Cinderella story. This season has been a magical one and each and every week we find ways to win football games, it's just been unbelievable.

Actually the run game is great, 200 YPG. It's the passing game that is still developing, but getting better each and every week but still far from where we would like to be...we have an athletic QB who has proven he can make plays with his legs and his arm. EG is very gifted but developing, he has flashed but is still growing.

That bowl ban for Ohio State is prettyyyy bad right now. They'd prob be #2 as the only other undefeated.

Still can win the AP natl championship doe lol.

This is what pisses me off, we dont schedule cupcake games, but when Alabama does and beats their assess, they are crowned as best in nation. Before season started that was a tough schedule, Michigan, MSU, USC were all suposed to be good-great teams. Oklahoma was and is a good team,

They beat each team, the only questionable game was Stanford in OT, whether it was or wasn't a TD on 4th down. You have to give ND credit, they did what they had to do, they beat everyone so far, now my team(ND) needs to beat USC, and we are in the National Championship Game.

Notre Dame is the only team with 4 victories over ranked opponents. You're overrating everyone elses schedule. Oregon, Bama and K State have their fair share of cupcakes and average opponents as well. Pac 10, SEC, and Big 12 aren't 12 in terms of talent.

Here's how I see it. Notre Dame has 3 victories over top 3 schools in their conferences (Mich, Okla, Stan), and another game against USC. What cupcake schedule are you talking about?
