Anyone watching these races. Great race today. Two legs down for "I'll have another". Now the true test of a champion. The mile and a half Belmont. In the early 2000's a few horses managed to pull off the first two legs only to come up short in the Belmont. If memory serves me correct Charasmatic came the closest. Was leading in the Belmont before getting run down at the wire. What does everyone think? Can this horse do it?

Lol...you couldn't buy an insurance policy to cover what this horse would be worth if he had to be put down after the race. The real money is in the breeding. I wouldn't be surprised (knowing horse racing and all the BS surrounding it) if the injury wasn't fake. Why take a chance and run the horse? Millions will be made from stud fees as the horse stands now. If he runs and loses, the fees probably wouldn't be as valuable. As it stands now, he's a stud who was a potential triple crown winner save for an "injury". Doesn't surprise me at all with "Drug" O'Neil as the trainer.

Where did I say he used drugs? His trainer is suspended in California for his horses having elevated levels of TOC2, which is nearly impossible unless you are milkshaking your horses, but I make no claim that this horse is out of compliance. "Drug" ONeill is a shady figure in the barns, everybody knows this so don't play like its all clean. Unfortunately, he is just a symptom of a culture that is out of control.

What I was talking about was the owners of I'll Have Another making a decision not to run their horse based on money, and what wouldn't surprise me is if this horse had absolutely no injury at all. Read this...it talks about what the owners of this horse did relative to winning the triple crown (maybe) or making millions on stud fees (assured). Typical of this tainted enterprise that some would call a "sport"...
