Yeah no

Good up and down but he butchered 18. If that draws back into the water he is looking at a triple. Cant believe he didnt he it on the right side of the green.

Good up and down but he butchered 18. If that draws back into the water he is looking at a triple. Cant believe he didnt he it on the right side of the green.

1. no he didn't butcher 18, he was playing for bogey from the tee shot. he hit a fade that was already starting on the right side of the fairway. it was the smart play taking water out of the equation with a 3 shot lead

2. if it zips back into the water he's hitting 5 so it's an up and down for 6.

He hit a horrible 3rd shot and was lucky it didnt go back in the water. If he does, it is no guaranteed up and down I understand that he wanted to hit it right off the tee but he didnt play the 3rd shot smart at all. I guess saying he "butchered" the hole was a bit strong but he certainly didnt play it well.
