bad move IMO.

Not if we amnesty Beans, then it'll only be like 5 mil more a year for a player like 20x as good.

Still a bad move. Keep the money to go after a all-star level PF/Center. Gettin' someone like Chandler will basically turn us from s**t to pretenders, at best.

I agree but at least one bad move this offseason seems inevitable

Don't sign anybody Lacob please.

Just try to get Chuck Hayes cheap.

If you can't...whatever.

The only problem with Lee and Chandler together is we remain a jump shooting team. Chandler is really not that good offensively aside from dunks off lob passes.

Dallas won the title without a significant offensive post presense. I think the defensive qualities that Chandler would bring would be far more valuable than his lack of offense.

However, that is only if price wasn't a factor. We can't afford another potentially bad contract that will set us back another half decade.

We don't need Chandler to score a boatload of points. We got Curry, Monta, Wright, and Lee for that and we've scorers off the bench. We just need that big, physical presence in the post.

Chris Paul would never agree to stay with the Warriors especially if the team trades a lot to get him. He wants to play with a title contender. Trading Curry and others would be foolish without an extension in place that guarantees that he will be with the team for several years.

Let's not be the Nets here.

And trade for a stud point guard only to watch him walk away.

Chris Paul is going to New York.

I believe Joe Lacob when he says he wants to build a winning team.

The problem is, he might be too overanxious.

He needs to exercise patience.

Remember Chris Cohan was not cheap. How much money did he waste on Foyle, Murphy, and Dunleavy. An almost ludicrous amount of money.

Spending money on free agents does not equal success.

But none of those were superstars.

Nor are Chandler, Nene, or Gasol. Good players yes. Superstars worth breaking the bank for? NO

I was talking about trading for an extended CP3.
