lol how is it his fault? our lineup cant hit. not much he can do about that. hitting coaches always take WAY too much of the blame for things. theyre job is to help spot holes in swings, and correcting bad habits. for the most part a hitter has already fully developed his approach by the time he reaches the major leagues. theres not a whole ton of impact a hitting coach can negatively have on a team.

Freddy isnt going to be the backup. Keppinger would be the utility guy in this scenario in my opinion. Having said that, I doubt that the Mets will let Reyes go when its all said and done.

Perhaps he can move a bit better but he has only played 55 games there ever in his career and most were years ago. Freddy will be our everyday 2b.
