Thornton and Marleau playing well.
I cant really tell, but may you guys can.... does it seem like we are doing less dump and chase strategy?
To me, one of my biggest criticisms of Todd McClellan was that strategy. Because any dumb goon can run that strategy.
We have WORLD CLASS talent on this team, Marleau, Thronton, Couture, Pavs, etc.... they are too talented to dump and chase and doing so prevents them from letting these talented athletes use thier god given skills to create offense....
any noticeable difference?

less dump and chase on powerplay, we are spreading it out and entering the zone
i wouldnt put to much stock into this game though, it was the oilers
the reason for 6 goals, pretty sure they got pissed the way the rookie celebrated after the first oilers goal. Jamie Baker said it was a bit over the top excessive
