I guess they feel like they could've won the cup if it hadn't been for the collapse. Maybe they feel the team will play with a new sense of urgency that pushes them to a cup victory now that they have had a taste of an experience that they never in their lives want to repeat again.

By mid-season, I think the team will look different. I think some of the young blood will make a difference and flash some good things that may push us a step further in the playoffs.

Lol the same mindset going into every season

I hope they prove to the fans and the NHL world that they can overcome the playoff blunders and at least get to a damn cup final.

Right now, I think it more comes down to the defense than the offense. We know what we can do on offense. Our defense has to be able to lock down anybody, and I don't know if we really have that kind of ability yet.
Few interesting items coming up lately...

Talk that Pavelski appears the front-runner to become the next team Captain: http://nbcbayarea.csnbayarea.com/sharks/sharks-outlook-pavelski-could-be-next-team-captain

Kennedy may be gone this season: http://nbcbayarea.csnbayarea.com/sharks/sharks-outlook-kennedy-could-get-squeezed-out

good and good.

Pavs is the man, and Kennedy blows.
I cant believe theyre really changing back to teal for playoff games, as if the color of the jerseys was the problem...

Sign more than just an enforcer if you want to change playoff success.

Agreed.... What exactly is the rationale behind this?

Bad luck? It sounds like they think changing colors will change the postseason misfortune.

Hopefully they just meant for playoffs, and not scrapping them altogether. The black jerseys are awesome.
I like the black jerseys too. By the way.. Wow did anyone else see the new rule changes?

that's alot of new rules.

I do like the extra space for face-offs and for Goalies behind the net.
