Hey, not sure how many of you guys watch poker, but I was curious about how all of you feel about this new "Live" format for the Main Event? I'm personally not a huge fan of this format, but also like the fact that I don't know who the November Nine are a month before the recordings finish.
Another thing I'm upset about is the new rule that you can't talk with an opponent or talk about your hand. It's BS and one of the best parts when you hear Negreneau, Hellmeuth, and "The Mouth" talking smack during the tournament.
Also, I'm a big Ivey fan so I'm pissed he didn't participate, but understand why he didn't

Them Full Tilt guys are making away with $100+ million, they need to pay their players already.
Funny side note is that our former Pro Bowl MLB Winfred Tubbs made Day 3

The no talking rule really sucks, that was always the best part.

Players overall who have been sponsored by Full Tilt have not received very much compensation for their support. Ivey's sued Full Tilt...but also has his poker group (White Knight) in the bidding to purchase Full Tilt. Too messy to play in the main event.

Thats unfortunate when almost everybody wants him to win the main event and is probably the most watched and followed professional player in the circuit. Espn wished he played i bet.

It drives me crazy that they show poker on ESPN, I love poker but it has no business on the sports channels.
