Garcia benched, backup started today, went 26/39 for 311 and 4 TD's, 2 to Jeffery who caught 6 balls for 95 yards, SCar won 54-3, Jeffery won't be hidden anymore

Agreed. Plus I think a lot of scouts and GMs will be smart enough to credit him for making a mediocre/bad QB look decent at times.

Did Auburn need 2 QBs to beat Alabama? No. Granted Lee is not nearly as talented as Newton but he's more accurate, a better pocket passer, and smarter than Jefferson. All Jefferson is good for is a few trick plays/jump passes and running into a pile of guys on QB draws. That's what you have a running back for. Also bothers me when they use Jefferson in the red zone. Like Lee can just go up and down the field but the TD scoring is Jefferson's job. LSU was averaging like 40 PPG with Lee as the sole QB. Sorry dude but Jefferson is not a good QB, he f**kin sucks and you guys will lose when you try to use this s**t on a good team.

I felt like this a couple of weeks ago when Jefferson first came back, but then I realized that having him back is probably a good thing. This team, including it's coaches put there full confidence in Lee against Oregon/Miss. St./West Virginia and he beat them all. Don't think that Miles/Krag or the rest of the team have forgotten that, and they know that this is Lee's team and year. Having Jefferson back does two things; 1) It makes teams prepare for two QB's, even though Lee will get 80% of the snaps, and 2) It gives them options on offense for specific game situation packages for Jefferson and gives them a chance to win if Lee gets hurt. Ask Florida how they feel after losing Brantly and getting curb stomped by Bama and LSU in consecutive weeks due to having freshman QB's. Jefferson got redzone snaps today because LSU had Florida beat in the second quarter and when Florida scored there only TD, Lee came in and played the entire 4th quarter, getting them to 40 in the process. I agree with you that Jefferson kind of sucks, but no matter how well he does, you won't see a repeat of 2008 where Lee would come in on passing downs and Jefferson would come in on Running/option plays. All Jefferson is a change of pace on offense and something else for Alabama to think about in a month.
Sun Devils started out ugly....again....against Utah. But for the 3rd game in a row, we win because our D generates turnovers. 14 turnovers in the last 3 games!! Really is more the result of terrible opponents then good D though. Bad news is, despite the stats, our QB Oz has looked shaky, espicially under pressure and run game gets shut down easily unless they are playing the pass heavily.

We pretty much punched our ticket for the PAC-12 championship game. UCLA and Colorado are really the only teams that have a shot at beating us out, and well, I'm not worried about those 2 programs.

Get a shot for national recognition @Autzen next week! But with about 10 guys out on our 2-Deep...not looking good.

My Georgia Tech Yellowjackets are now 6-0 and was the first team in the nation bowl eligible today. It's rare I get to brag about my college team. Very rare. Almost as rare as me getting to brag about my NFL team....

However for once I can actually brag about both at the same time. 2011 rocks! Atleast so far.

I have a similar feeling, first time ever both my college and NFL team are off too good starts.

I'm a big fan of GT, love their offense.
Did anyone see this?! lol pretty pathetic

In the wake of yesterday's disaster in NFL action, it's good to know that at least my college team is #1.

This is about the time of year that Les Miles goes into his IQ 80 mode and loses to a team he has no business losing to.

If they can survive this trap month, Alabama can be beaten, and if LSU pulls that one out, from there it doesn't matter if the coaches say OU is #1, it'll be settled on the field.
stupid aggies

lol RIP Big East.

The fact that conference got an automatic BCS berth even before the mass exodus just shows how bs a system the BCS is.

Giving unranked Big East champions BCS games... ignoring when things like Utah blowing SEC team Alabama out happen... I love college football, but it is absurd in so many ways.
