idk why, but I've never been impressed by Lavezzi as many others are. I don't think he should even be sniffing NT call ups with Kun, Higuain, Milito, and Tevez around.

my dad tried to argue with me otherwise and after yesterday's game he was already on my side

is it with these Argentina coaches that can't get this s**t right? at least they're making Maradona not look that bad, s**t, Diego did a better job than this clown

Carlos Bianchi is the answer!!!!
I agree with VDSF. You can bet your ass Argentina gets a new coach if they don't reach the final.

Good lord stop being so Boca biased

When's the last time he coached anyways?

@Alex do you agree that Argentina should get a new coach or that they should get Bianchi? I don't even know if Argentina knows wtf they're doing anymore
On a separate (though related) note, loving Costa Rica's 2-0 win over Bolivia today, didn't get to watch it but it sounds like their raw talent over matched Bolivia's limited veteran squad.

AND they put the pressure (if there wasn't already enough) on Argentina for the final group match. Costa Rica will come out with a strict all-defense/counterattack mode and Argentina will struggle if they can't get an early score. Must watch game as it may really be the fallout for this team

I'm not saying this cause i'm a boca fan, i'm saying this as a fact, yeah he last coached in 2006 with atletico madrid, so what he knows the system in argentina, he was even considered the spot for the world cup last year but rejected the offer having doubt that he might ruin his reputation if he were to be eliminated and this is way different than the WC imo, i believe he is the answer for what he did in boca and won titles there, he has a ferarri of a team and just needs the keys.
Carlos Bianchi is a good f**king coach. I dont think Argentina wants to hire a foreigner, so at this point, Bianchi is the best they're gonna get.

I don't think Argentina EVER wants to hire a foreigner coach. Bianchi's been out of the game for 5 years, I'm a big fan but that makes me skeptical
I'm gonna miss the Chile-Uruguay game hope Chile can pull out the win, it's gonna be a good game I bet.

I'll get to watch Peru-Mexico, hope they give me a good shows, I'd believe Mexico is inspired by their U-17 team and the U-22 Costa Rica team performing well yesterday, while Peru doesn't want to be schooled by a young team.

Guess I'll root for Peru since my parents are Peruvian but I wouldn't mind if Giovanni goes off on them
Juan Manuel Vargas from Fiorentina is Peruvian right?

I wanna watch him play, see what he can potentially do for Juventus. I've seen him play a few times as I watch Serie A, and overall he seems like a quality player.

Even the Argentinians on the forums are asking for Bianchi already!

From Ole.Clarin.Com, I translated it the best i could.

''Batista planea un cambio de timón y éste incluiría a Messi como enganche más tres delanteros: Di María, Agüero e Higuaín. Así, el Checho probaría en la práctica un 4-2-1-3. Pero podría haber más: ¿Se viene Pastore?''

''Batista is planning a change of direction and this would include Messi plus three strikers: Di Maria, Aguero and Higuain. Thus, Checho practiced a 4-2-1-3 formation. But there could be more: Pastore is coming to 1st squad?''

''The coach plans to leave behind the 4-3-3 he worked with throughout the preparation for the Copa America and mutate to a 4-2-1-3 with Lionel Messi more delayed and several new names: Angel Di Maria and Sergio Agüero at the ends and Gonzalo Higuain in the area as a reference, which Checho in his own press conference admitted that was missing. That the update date View Count, would prove in practice.''

''Thus, Carlos Tevez, Esteban Cambiasso and Ezequiel Lavezzi would leave the team. However, it could be more. For lack of generation of game, Ever Banega could also leave. Is Javier Pastore coming to the 1st squad?''

Man I guess this Mexican squad is really worse than I thought, especially on defense. Sure, go ahead and leave their best forward wide open by the far post

The pass to him wasn't even that hard and they all watched it go over to Guerrero

But it was a score well deserved, Peru coulda won this 3-0, which is similar to what I was saying about Chile after they played Mexico
We play Ecuador today, HAVE to win.

I'm rocking my jersey
