-I think the Lakers are built to win on the road in the playoffs, and that this is the best Laker team in the Kobe/Gasol era...health willing. -The Bulls are legit. They're not "too young" to win the title, as many are saying. They're a great defensive team, and have a legit go-to guy that is very difficult to stop. But I think their outside shooting is going to make life difficult on them when playoff rotations are geared to bring out your greatest weakness. -I've seen this movie with Boston before. I don't buy for a second that they're too old or that the Perkins deal killed their chemistry. -Not to besmirch a legend, but I don't think Tim Duncan can hold the middle long enough to get to the Finals. -...but I still think they'll beat OKC in Round 2. -Mavs/Portland has upset written all over it. Portland plays like they think they can beat the Mavs. -I think Denver could have made a run at a first round upset if they played anyone but OKC. Terrible matchup for them. -As top heavy as they are, I don't see Miami getting by both Boston and Chicago. Props to them if they can.

You add New York back to the playoffs and facing the Celtics in the 1st round - these results do not surprise me.

I've always thought this about odom:

How is he not a superstar? His size, athleticism, ability and skill....How the f**k can he JUST be a 6th man. I am disappoint.

odom is basically a point forward. odom without a doubt

because he is the closest thing to a point anything the lakers have? haha Deng is a much better defender, passer, rebounder and scorer, avgs more per game in each catagory not to mention he is actually a starter.

no s**t he averages more in each category he is a starter.

ha! I rest my case

Odom averages more rebounds, more assists, more blocks, shoots a higher percentage from the field, and shoots a higher percentage from the 3 point line than Deng does.

been a pretty exciting playoffs so far

some upsets and the lower seeds keeping everything interesting

I have absolutely watched a ton more NBA this year, very exciting playoffs so far

makes me wonder though if my lack of interest in the nfl because of the cba bulls**t has anything to do with it?

As a nuggets fan, I am sick. Another game the Nuggets should have won....so unclutch blowing a 9 point lead w/ 3 1/2 minutes left. You knew it was going to happen too, just like game 3.

Thoughts? Comments? This is going to be a great series, there is bound to be some strong opinions for one side over the other

For what it's worth, I'm probably cheerin for the Cs just because Ive actually got friends who are huge Cs fans...I dunno any Heat fans before BronBron sooo...yeahhh...lol
