No its not. Have you ever been to an Indian wedding or concert??

It smells like curry BEFORE dinner is served.

Hahaha. Why don't the people who don't like cricket or watch it just get the f**k out of this thread? Simple as that.
And btw, I'll be repping the Green and White tomorrow.

Cricket is simply a wonderful game, exported by the British around the world in the time of Empire. It is called boring by those who do not undertsand it. It can be all action but also a game of strategy and tactics.

Tendulkar is probably the best known cricketer in the world and a true mega star in India, where he has millions of adoring fans. To put his career into context, I watched an international in 1990 between England and India at Manchester and Tendulkar was playing as a 16 year old, 21 years ago.

To be honest, you can't really compare him to any current player - because in his country - he is bigger than the sport itself. He is like Babe Ruth of his era, or someone like Pele or Maradona. If you get a chance - read the article on ESPN written by a US reporter. It's really long, but does a decent job of explaining the game in very simple terms and what it means and what Sachin Tendulkar means to cricket and India.

He's done it. A century. I've never been in a stadium that feels like this one. Hindus and Muslims, Sikhs and Christians, people from different castes and classes, speakers of a dozen languages, all citizens in the Republic of Sachin. The stern cops give wide smiles and thumbs-ups.
CANT WAIT.....never been so excited for a cricket match

It's 106 for 3 in 25 overs. Looks like the match is going down the wire.
