You don't need excelent hitting to go far in this league, just timely hitting and great pitching... a's definitely have 1 out of the 2

Yeah thats true, but when you're playing s**tty defense like we have in 3 of our games already then the 2 you just mentioned dont matter any more.
And our pitching was freakin amazing yesterday Awesome.
Our offense still is pretty bad

That Minnesota series could have been a sweep if we could have held on in the 8th on Friday. It was nice to see Matsui and Willingham provide some power yesterday. If the middle of our lineup can hit the ball consistently (see Willingham's Ks so far) and occassionally add some punch, we'll make some noise.
