LOL. Are you watching the games? This kid is probably underhyped. He is already one of the top players in the league and its still January of his rookie season. He cant help it that he has below average talent on his team.

I watched all three Warriors-Clippers games, and yes I can name 10 players I'd rather have than him. Pretty easily in fact.

Lebron, Wade, Kobe, Paul, Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, Deron, Durant, Amare, Dirk and Carmelo.

I'm not on the Blake bandwagon.

Then you dont know nearly as much about basketball than I gave you credit for. As for your ten.. I was talking long term if starting a team. LeBron, DHoward, Durant.. the only 3 I'd take over BG.

I respect Griffin's game -- much better offensively than I thought.

What rubs me the wrong way is his smug attitude. No doubt he backs it up, so props for that, but clearly other players in the league don't like some his antics. Just off hand I know Carl Landry, Andre Miller, James Posey and Lamar Odom have gotten into it with him.

I'm sure some people like when he slams one home and then glares at the person who just took the facial. But clearly he's pissing some players off. Guys have already started taking shots at him.

And like crzy, I don't like the hype machine around him.

Right. Because 22.5/12.8 and 52% FG shooting isnt good for a rookie in his 4th month in the league. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that his kid has everything it takes to be a superstar in the league. He isnt just flash and dunks. He has a solid offensive game and can board. Best rookie to come to the NBA in years.

Yes but one is a rookie and the other is a veteran.


Who cares about Griffen, your analysis opens up more queries that I am interested in:

You say:
The Spurs are the most boring team

in contrast, you don't see anything special in Blake Griffen.


I feel much more secure now whenever I will read your "Spurs are boring" comment because a 10 in our book is considered a 5 in yours.
