If they meet again the Celtics would clearly be better than last year's team I would think and I say they crush the Lakers 4-1, 4-2, maybe even a sweep.

LOL! I hope you're being sarcastic.

No team is going to "crush" this Laker squad, they're way too mentally strong for that. Especially not a Celtic squad that choked away a huge 2nd half league in Game 7. If you think that Shaq is going to help you win a title, you're as misguided as the last three fan bases that thought he would do that. You added Jermaine O'Neal, who's toast, and lost your best perimeter defender in Tony Allen. Sheed is gone as well, who was very good in the playoffs last year and one of your only sources of offense in Game 7.

On the other hand, the Lakers added depth with Blake & Barnes, without losing anyone significant.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Celtics won the title, I do think that people are overlooking them, but "crush" the Lakers in a seven game series? Please.

Heat over the Spurs in the finals.

Your wishful thinking is worth a chuckle.

It'll be one of these three matchups (listed in order of probability):

1. Lakers over Celtics
2. Lakers over Magic
3. Lakers over Hawks
:
:
:
4. Lakers over Heat

I don't think that the Heat have the inside presence to contend with either the Celtics or the Magic. I've also heard some decent arguments that the Magic actually might be the best team in the East. In either case, the Heat will have to go through at least one of them in the playoffs, and they won't make it past them.

The Lakers will not have a lot of trouble with the West....the entire conference was noticeably weakened this offseason. Early part of the season they'll have some rough stretches with Kobe being slowed by the knee and Bynum out.....but by January, the Lakers will be fully healthy and have a ton of depth to go with the health.

The Lakers addition of Blake and Barnes to the bench is being highly overlooked, but will play a large role in winning many games while also sparing starters heavy minutes.
