Official 2010 California Golden Bears Football

I can't take anymore of this. This hurts man...look like dookie
We're gettin it pushed...ALL THE WAY IN, Holmes

Mansion is a nightmare.

As bad as this was -- and it was bad -- it's nothing compared to the way Fresno State got completely blown off the field against Boise State.

What happened to my once dominant Fresno State breatheren?

Luck ... ... he just abused that safety down field.

Future Niner!

don't get your hopes up bud

I know just a fantasy

I am wondering what it actually would cost to move up to take him. He is worth 2 first rounders.

He's going to be next year's version of Sam Bradford, and he's the next Peyton Manning long term IMO.

and this

I would give up this year's first, next year's first, and this year's 2nd to get him. Maybe more. The Jets gave up a s**tload to get Sanchez and he's not even as good as Luck will be. WE NEED LUCK.

Considering Luck has not played a single down in the NFL that statement holds no merit and the Jets gave up their first rounder (17th overall), second rounder, Brett Ratliff, Abram Elam and a 30 year old Kenyon Coleman.

And you are willing to surrender 2 1sts and a 2nd ? Wow, that's overpaying.

And a third

Nope no 3rd in the deal.

Sanchez went #4 overall, not #1. No way Luck slides to #4.

Yes but they still moved into the top 5 from 17 and at a reasonable price IMO. If we are drafting in the top 10-12 teams I wouldn't want to be giving up 2 1sts and a 2nd for any player in this year's class.

If we have a rookie pay-scale in place by the time 2011 draft rolls around - it will be almost impossible to move from 17 to 4. Or I should say, it will cost a LOT more.
Is Locker playing?

I guess we need this game for Bowl eligibility...

I think he is. And I think we get it come on!

If not though, Tedford may get fired and that could mean an OC for the 49ers...

You have to think they fire him, right? They're starting with a new stadium, why not start with a new coaching staff? As much as Tedford has done it seems that he's kind of fizzled out as a coach. His recruiting is really going downhill. He finds a couple of gems (Keenan Allen, wtg!) but he consistently loses the recruiting battles.

I really have no idea what to expect. It just puzzles me how the team appears to play heartless football at times, that has to fall on him right? He probably has fizzled out but who would replace him? Mike Leach? lol

Ew no way. I don't want to see CAL play non pro-style football. As for other options, I really don't know. This is where you give a guy a shot that's in DII or a coordinator somewhere else. We have the personnel for pro-style and either we have to blow the whole team up with a new style or get better recruits to play those. Unfortunately, it's much harder to find players to play pro-style because HS football is so spread, run and gun, shotgun-spread now. Just like how slowly the college recruits to the pros will stop translating quite as well.
