LBJ, Bosh, Wade Take Less Money, Hold ETO For 2014
Jul 10, 2010 5:48 AM EST

LeBron James and Chris Bosh signed matching six-year, $110.1 million contracts, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher.

Dwyane Wade signed for six years and $107.5 million, according to the sources.

Sources told ESPN.com's Chad Ford that James and Bosh are scheduled to make $14.5 million and Wade $14 million in 2010-11.

Each player took $15 million less over the life of the contract to sign with Miami, but they have an opt out after the fourth year to all potentially become free agents in 2014.

The Heat sent two future first-round and two second-round picks to the Cavaliers for James, while packaging two first-round picks to the Raptors for Bosh.

So in 4 years, we could be going through all of this all over again...and to tell you the truth, I really could see them not winning a championship in the next 4 years...I'd be amazed if they didnt because that would mean a lot of FAIL had to have occurred in one way or another...but I wouldnt be surprised or shocked...

DIEGO FORLAN GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL
Source Speculates Riley Will Return As Coach
Jul 10, 2010 9:03 AM EST

League sources have told the New York Daily News that Pat Riley will at some point replace Erik Spoelstra as head coach of the Heat.

"Pat won't come back for just Wade and Bosh, because that's not a sure thing in Pat's mind," said one Eastern Conference coach before Miami officially landed LeBron James.

"But with LeBron and those two, that's a sure thing for Pat. He will come back if they get LeBron."

Maybe Spoelstra can join SVG's staff in the "f**k you Riley" club.

Maybe you can get away with saying Kobe and Pau are the best SG-PF combo in the league today. Artest is not even an all-star caliber player.

What would all the Laker haters do without this new sense of hope? They were all crushed when the Lakers beat the Celtics in the Finals for their back to back championships. Barely heard a peep out of anyone. Now they have a sliver of hope with the heat.

Got news for you fellas. The Lakers are going to be better than they were last year. I'm sure you'll all post silly statements with no actual proof of anything, proclaimig the heat greatness, blah blah blah.

You'll all see. You'll all be broken hearted next June. Again.

Saying Lakers will be better than they were last year is also a silly statement with no actual proof, since they haven't done much to improve their roster this off-season.

The simple fact that they are maintaining the same system is why they get better. A player like Artest needs time to figure out the offense. He was just starting to get it late in the playoffs. He said it himself that he was still struggling to understand it late in the season. Look at the play of Gasol his 2nd year with the team. Look at the play of most players their 2nd year in the offense. These things actually do make a difference. Add Blake, who's leaps and bounds better than the departing Farmar, and that seems pretty obvious that they should be better. They ARE the back to back champs. It's not like they have to make a huge jump to get better. They're already sitting clear and away on top of the association.

But this will be Blakes 1st year in the offense dont you think he will struggle as well, I mean better players like Gasol and artest struggled
