means they can sign farmar and let him start

And no. For as ridiculously horrific Fish has played the past 2 regular seasons, he more than made up for it in both playoff runs. We all screamed bloody murder on him all year, and then he literally just hit the switch and never looked back.

truer words, there are not.

This shot NEVER gets old!!!!!!
As a Laker fan, the thing that honestly concerns me most about this is that I think that there are only two men that are properly equipped to coach this team to a title. One is working on his fourth threepeat, and the other is sitting in an executive's chair in Miami's front office. I think Spoelstra MAYBE gets a full year to try to win with this squad. But if they get knocked out or even hit a rough patch in the middle of the season, you gotta believe that Riley has his finger on the button that opens the trap door beneath Spoelstra's feet.

They make it so obvious. Everyone was laughing how it's just a team of 3 and now (if the rumors are true) Miami will be able to bring in Mike Miller and keep Haslem. Those are two pretty darn good role players on any team, plus they will fit in very well.

I think there are more than just those two. Larry Brown (though I don't like him, some might argue he can coach them to a title), Popavich (sp?) def. can - Rick Adelman has always over-achieved with his teams, so he can def. take this team to a title. Doc Rivers obviously - he coached (did he really coach? but whatever he did, it worked) the big 3 to a title.

I don't know how true this is, just a rumor like I said in my post earlier. But, if they can keep Haslem and bring in Mike Miller - they are pretty close to having a team that can beat anyone.

Imagine if they added D-Fish(one of my most hated player) that would be pretty good team. Two spot up shooter Fish and Miller. With a good role player on Haslem that team can compete. But I doubt Fish would leave the Lakers Kobe would be pissed.. He and D-Fish goes way back.
if i was the heat coach

id just resign right now

Miami's 3 Kings is the considered Best 3 in the NBA, but I would put Kobe,Pau, and Artest against any teams best 3 players. That doesn't even counting Bynum's development who could be in the mix wit our top 3 players!
What would all the Laker haters do without this new sense of hope? They were all crushed when the Lakers beat the Celtics in the Finals for their back to back championships. Barely heard a peep out of anyone. Now they have a sliver of hope with the heat.

Got news for you fellas. The Lakers are going to be better than they were last year. I'm sure you'll all post silly statements with no actual proof of anything, proclaimig the heat greatness, blah blah blah.

You'll all see. You'll all be broken hearted next June. Again.
