They're calling him a Trevor Ariza without the jumper on LG.

I actually like Ebanks, lol, I remember watching him over @ WVU, I think Trevor Ariza without a jumper is a pretty good statement, except I think hes longer and taller (well, hes proven to be taller, I think he measured out to be 6'9)...I think he's our best backup 3 at this point and he hasnt even stepped on the court yet lol
Derrick Caracter... I remember watching him in one of the march madness games this year... heard he has a bit of character issues lulz no pun intended.
Kobe Likely To Have Surgery On Finger
Jun 24, 2010 4:35 AM EST

Kobe Bryant said he would likely have surgery on his finger when he returned from watching the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

"I'm going to talk with our staff here and [Lakers general manager] Mitch [Kupchak] as well and come up with a timeline to take care of some of the injuries that have been nagging me and things we need to address," Bryant said. "We'll do that before I leave."

Bryant was also bothered during the season by his twice-surgically repaired right knee but said it wasn't really an issue after he got it drained during the playoffs.

"The finger [was the problem]," Bryant said. "The knee was fine. Once we drained the knee it was fine or fine enough. The finger though was a constant problem. It was always around. I had to take the wrap around my entire finger and the hard splint underneath it so feeling the basketball was really tough. It was always a constant battle to adjust to it."
we should take a look at jerome randle

Well thats good news.
Stat For Agst Diff
PPG 101.7 97.0 +4.7
RPG 44.3 42.2 +2.1
APG 21.1 21.9 -0.8
BPG 4.9 4.4 +0.5
SPG 7.4 7.0 +0.5
FG% .457 .446 +.011
FT% .765 .750 +.015
3FG% .341 .328 +.013

These are the team stats from this last year.
I didn't love our draft, but didn't hate it. I think both guys are going to make the team, and have the physical tools to be successful in the league. Ebanks moreso than Caracter, IMO.

I thought we should have gone with BPA, which was Willie Warren out of Oklahoma. I didn't think he'd be there. But I'm cool with the Ebanks pick. He's a defensive specialist who's a garbage man on offense. Scores in transition, gets putbacks, etc. Should be able to effectively guard 2's & 3's in the league. Considering we have Artest & Walton at the 3 right now, his athleticism adds another dimension.

Caracter's an interesting player in that he's a big (too big) player with quick feet, but doesn't do much when he doesn't have the ball in his hands. Think poor man's Zach Randolph. But if the Laker environment can keep him focused and working on his game, he has 1st round talent, no question.

It looks like the guy I wanted before the draft, Mikhail Torrance, has a heart condition that kept teams from drafting him.
Bulls fans are already talkin s**t sayin they're goin to get Bosh/ LeBron and dominate... god damn these people... there team sucks the last 10 years and without signing anyone they feel obligated to talk s**t... ridiculous.

That's exactly what I was referring to.
