Van Gundy is hoping that ownership will do all they can to keep Redick in Orlando.
The Celtics and Hawks are impressed with Redick, who could command mid-level exception money over five years.

I doubt Stan Van Gundy actually said that.

Chris Duhon for 4 years/$15M.
Solid signing. I think he's the kinda guy that would be a good role player on a championship contender. Good defender, smart guy, supposedly good in the locker room.

I know you don't want to lose JJ, but would you really want him at that price?

Would love to keep him in Orlando, but I believe the Bulls are overspending for JJ. Thats what they get for getting rid of Heinrich in their failed attempt to get LBJ.
Otis Smith is going to use the full 7 days to decide.

No, I'd love to have Redick..but that is a high price tag.
We have plenty of other high price tags on this roster..and if we lose Redick, we need to find a player similar..another great shooter to come off the bench and provide that spark. Korver is already gone, not sure what else is out there.

He's a pretty good defender too. And that's a combo hard to come by.

Yeah, his improved defense is what bumped his price tag up..he used to be god awful at it..now he's one of the better pound for pound defenders on the team.
