Some scary stats I saw on TV tonight.

A's rotation will have four LHs with Eveland, Braden, Outman, and Anderson...last time that happened was I believe in 04 when they had Mulder, Zito, Lilly and I believe Redman with Huddy being the only RH to start that season in the rotation...this season it'll be Cahill who is a rookie.

Also the A's opening day rotation will have like a combined 60 or so MLB starts.
oh, and 18 wins combined total

oh, and Outman is the oldest at 25
FML
This is just too young of a rotation.

Anderson, Cahill, Braden, Eveland, Gallagher, Gio...guys who all could see signicant time in the A's rotation this season no matter what are all under 25 with like it was mentioned, Outman the oldest at 25. Course that's not including Duke.

Now MIN did make it work as their rotation was very young but can't see that happening twice in back to back seasons.
I'll be at AT&T tonight, freezin my a$$ off with my co-workers. Holla if you're gonna be in the building.

I'm starting to wonder if AT&T has increased their beer prices. If so, that's wrong...so wrong

We're the ESPN AL Darkhorse team. Not sure that means anything if our pitching doesn't hold up...
If the A's pitching ERA for the season can be in the top half of the AL, I think they have a shot.

Course I believe the young pitching will struggle early and who knows how that'll effect the way the A's handle some of their veteran pieces.
Well Ichiro will be out for the A's second series at the start of the season.

Don't root for injuries, but that'll certainly help for hopefully a somewhat solid start as the A's schedule the first month plus is tough.

If our young pitching somehow pulls it together and builds confidence the first half of the season, and our hitting plays as advertised we will be a very good team. If not...then we're better than we we were last year, but not that much better.
Nice comeback start by Eveland today.

Offensively, eh, but the A's had 1/3 of their projected lineup out tonight.

How did we win? I was lookin at the box score and it only showed 1 RBI... was a run walked in?
Nah, 1-2 in the top of 10th inning, bases loaded.

Pennington bounced a ball to first and got the runner out at C but the C pumped faked and Davis who was at 3rd and maybe thinking about scoring on the throw to 1B and was thrown out.

1st and 2nd, and two straight wild pitches and A's win 2-1.
