Matchups still haven't been officially announced for the planned May 4 mega-event in Las Vegas but Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez are likely to fight on the same card. Robert Guerrero is considered the frontrunner to face Floyd while Canelo has several potential opponents under consideration. What are the chances of a blockbuster Mayweather vs. Alvarez collision taking place on May 4th? For now Eddy Reynoso (Alvarez' manager) has denied this possibility but has indicated there is still a pending meeting with Golden Boy.

Matthysse is a fat b*****d

25 lb. re-hydration = 1st round KTFO over Mike Dallas Jr.

David Greisman ‏@fightingwords2

A Showtime spokesman confirms that Matthysse truly was 163.5 pounds tonight. Wow. Just wow.
what's the story with Victor Ortiz?

How's his hand?

Is he ever going to fight Rios?
There is talk of Nonito Donaire vs Guillermo Rigondeaux for April 13.
The Brandon Rios vs Mike Alvarado rematch is set for March 30 in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay.
@ FloydMayweather

The negotiations for my fight are almost done. The front runner is IBF Champion Devon Alexander. It'd be a unification bout at welterweight.

Khan's glass jaw is not going to do any better at 147.

he actually had Garcia but he decided to trade with him and brawl. Khan isn't a brawler. He can come back if he wants to. I think he's paid enough to not gaf

was that the guy calling him out?
Props to Nonito , man.

Dude fights often and anyone and gets tested everyday. He lives for the fight. He has a passion for it. He studies Bruce Lee, Chavez sr etc

He reminds me of Ryu from street fighter.

Naw, that was Abner Mares, and that was more of the GB vs Top Rank BS...

I actually like this fight more than a Donaire/Mares bout. Rigondeaux I feel is highly underrated b/c of his record, but so many people forget he was stuck in Cuba for hella years and could only fight as an amateur. I mean, I think he has enough gold to pay off the national debt from all his championship/olympic medals. I will be rooting for Donaire, but this will be one match I don't know who will win, won't be surprised by either winning, and I'm definitely taking off work to watch.
