i do hope your right because Patton seems like a great locker room presence.
I am not a fan of him jumping into the stands though. I dont want GB people saying we are copying the Lambeau leap

Well they've copied our WCO architecture ever since Mike Holmgren so they can go F*** themselves!

And hey, maybe just MAYBE Ellington will be used for more this season than the decoy on fake jet sweeps.

Kap played nary a snap last nite and Russ Wilson played a good deal into the 2nd qtr. Another question. Even tho JT needs to get his cuts and keeps done, wouldn't it have been a good idea to get kap his reps last nite? The fact SEA played Wilson doesn't mean we should do the same with kap. But he is going into season with pathetically little PS action under his belt, and I wonder if JT may want to rethink this, oh say midway thru our 3rd game or so. Kap looked rusty when in, and I sure would have liked for him to get a taste more of PS play than the few series he was in.
OTOH, maybe it was a staley thing. JT said if staley wasn't in, then kap wouldn't be either. If that was the case, well, can't argue with that.
Summary of PS is that of the ten or so question marks, OL seems to be the one still fluid. DL maybe, but seems more settled. As for RBs, we got 4 . TEs 4 starters.
DBs we seem to have 4 starters in a backfield that will utilize LBs also. #2 QB settled. Coaches...anybody really think we won't be better on BOTH sides of the ball coaching wise? WRs we got competition there...good sign. LBs...with Bow as anchor, probably fine. STs...big upswing. The most important ?? for me tho was coaching...and I have been favorably impressed... Qb Coach, OC, DC, and HC.
I can't wait to see the first D game called. I also can't wait to see the O game called. Based on PS, tho, I am not worried. Looks good all around.

Agreed with pretty much everything. Not sure Ellington, Hunter or Patton make the team, not sure the heck happened with those guys...
Hunter is a RB3 at best now, but Mike Davis and Bush are RBs, so he is probably the odd man out.
Patton and Ellington may be kept only for depth
Not sure what value Hayne really brings... Do they keep Hayne instead of Bush, or both?

no significant injuries right? A major plus compared to last preseason.
