I love the idea of that but at the same time I think we should slow down a little bit with all such lofty expectations so early.
Kap certainly has all of the potential to go down as one of the best but I think we should at the very lest want to see a full season and a superbowl win before this is even a discussion.
That is pretty much what Jaws said though

People either can't read or just don't comprehend what is being read. All of this "let's wait and see before we start making these expectations" talk is way off. Nobody said Kaepernick WILL BE the greatest QB of all time. Jaws said he has the potential to be, and he does. He has all the physical and mental tools needed to do so. Nobody is saying he will be or already is the best.
We don't need to "wait and see" and he doesn't need to "win the Super Bowl first" for us to see the potential this guy possesses. Whether or not he realizes his potential is another story altogether, but the potential is there regardless.

I really wonder if half the people on here actually watch us play. I can understand media that see certain highlights think we do certain things - but our own fans??
We completely set up our offensive roster so that teams never know what to expect from us. The Green Bay game was a transformation from what we had done previously, but then we changed it again for the next game. It doesn't always work, but we are now a team that can change it up depending on what the defense shows.
We play some pistol, but it has hardly been extensive. We got round to using Vernon in the play offs, but don't think we will use him extensively receiving in all games. Some days we'll run Kaep a lot in a game, but other days we won't. Sometimes this will be because teams do shut down his runs. But other times it will just be because every successful team VARIES what they do.
The pistol is something we can do - but until now it is definitely not what we always do. And god knows our coaching staff will be working on more variatins for next season.
Kaep is a player that helps enable us to increase variety and that is why he starts for us. He does not start so that we can do the same thing all the time.
