Combine numbers and production comparison between Mingo, Jordan (top-10 picks) and Lemonier:

Kiki Mingo - 4.58 forty, 1.55 10-yard split, 33.68 arms, 14.5 career sacks in 3 years
Dion Jordan - 4.60 forty, 1.57 10-yard split, 33.78 arms, 14.5 career sacks in 3 years (former TE)
C. Lemonier - 4.60 forty, 1.57 10-yard split, 34.48 arms, 17 career sacks in 3 years

* All 3 of their unofficial times were the same (4.53), which was tied for #1 among all DEs.

Lemonier (21, true Junior) is 2 years younger than Jordan (23, RS Senior) and a year younger than Mingo (22, RS Junior).

Wow.

Good stuff.

I think lemo will rack up some sacks as a situational pass rusher this year.
Lemonier: 6'4", 246 lbs, 4.6 40, 34.48 arm length

A. Smith: 6'4", 258 lbs., 4.7 40, 35.38 arm length

When Lemonier puts some more muscle weight on, they'll almost be clones. Lemonier is slightly faster which is pretty amazing. Nobody can beat A. Smith's arm length.

It's going to be sick having him and Aldon on the field at the same time in pass rushing situations.
Ready or not, he better be ready to compete for the starting role. This draft pick suddenly becomes significantly more important. C'mon Lemonade!

yes, because if brooks goes away for a unknown amount of time, haralson should get his spot and the kid is one step away from starting

And he may even be brought in during obvious passrushing downs (i.e. 3rd and long) like Aldon was during his rookie year. Haralson would be the 1st and 2nd down player and Lemonier would be the 3rd down specialist...

lets continue to build up the clammer for lemonier so if something does happen to brooks we can counter those who will come on here and plead for us to bring manny lawson back

I wouldn't be surprised to see Lemonier have a pass rush impact, but the running game will probably take awhile. Good thing we've got two stalwarts in the middle to do the dirty work.

But this news just sucks in general. Mo money mo prolems...

I thought he looked great in his first preseason outing. I can see him being used as a situational pass-rusher on obvious passing downs, similar to how Aldon was used as a rookie.
Ermahgerd lemonyay was awesome
He really impressed me today. Definitely should use him as a situational pass rusher this season. Once he gains more experience and learns to play the run/drop in coverage better he'll be able to start, possibly. Does anyone know if we had any rotation at all last season at OLB?

That's what I'm saying. Not the lemonade part, but he is going to be seeing a LOT of playing time. Dynamic!!!!!
