Manningham heading no where, lowers base salary

Just saw some interesting info, Manningham restructured his deal, lowering down his $3.6 million base salary down to $1.8 million.

If Mods feel it should be in cap thread than feel free to move, just thought it may get lost in the shuffle so to speak.

Great news! He was gonna be cut IMHO. It was a NASTY injury and if we can get some productivity out of him the second half of the season, GREAT!!! I really like him...

Once again, more proof players will do what they need to do to play/stay for us!

he either restructured which means he converted salary into a signing bonus and reduced his cap hit for this year

or

he took an out right pay cut due to lack of leverage

which is it

Awesome, thanks AB. Any word on what happens to the other 1.8 mil? Does it go into a bonus or did he just plain take a paycut to stay with the team?

you're assuming he took a pay cut, that isn't clear.

He got hurt in December right? Usually takes a year to recover from acl. He won't be on the field until this December?
