Ricardo Lockette thread

Is Ricardo Lockette any good. The video from the sac bee show him running a decent 40 time & seems like he has decent hands too. Also was wondering if he was one of the WRs' that showed some potential in the preseason. If he has his own thread or a thread that talks about him, mods, you can combine them.

This disproves the "do we have a bad fan base" thread. We have a thread dedicated to Ricardo Lockette. How many fan bases can say they have a thread dedicated to a guy thats 8th on the depth chart?
Dont know alot about him TBH. We need a RZ target bad, so if he can fit that roll there is room for him. e desperately need someone to fill that roll for us at WR and IMO TE as well.
I find it weird that the Niners sign chad hall off the street and he sees playing time, yet lockette doesn't get a chance. He seems every bit the better athlete than hallm and had plenty of time to get acclimated with the play book. What gives?
donno, but lockette does seem to have some potential.

bigger, stronger, and faster than AJ Jenkins

maybe raw and run bad routes???
btw, lockette won the 2010 NCAA 200m division II dash. the dude has speed and is strong as hell.

Seems like a physical freak. Maybe needs to polish up route running and might have a catching problem.
Could be the 2013 version of Marcus Maxwell.
I for one am rooting for this guy...
The guy's measurables are great and I'll admit that I have high hopes for him, but why, as a fan base, do we always pick a mid-late round draft pick or Practice Squad WR and fall in love with him? When was the last time one turned out to even be a middling player?

Derrick Hamilton, PJ Fleck, Marcus Maxwell mentioned above, that really skinny dude out of Baylor...
There is a reason why he was never active....who knows why but him being in ATL with Kaep working out, getting some timing down isn't a bad thing. Maybe he needed a year to sit back and take it all in and maybe this year he has a small role but is active.

Ziegler. Lol i actually liked ziegler, but knew by looking at his frame he wouldnt amount to much.

The ultimate underdog story. Every one likes a good one. I have no hopes whatsoever, but it will be interesting to track this guy's development over 2013 and 2014. He has some nice measureables, like most guys do every year. I'd just like for any receiver with some size to make it on our roster and make some meaningful contributions, whoever they may be.
another "NEXT T.O." lol. otis amey was supposedly the 3rd or 4th coming of T.O. too, hopefully this dude can make it happen. hes definitely putting himself into position to be a factor by working with kaep and harbaugh doesnt care if you were a 1st rounder or undrafted, the better man will play. im rooting for this guy. size, speed, strength and work ethic. work on the hands and route running and we have a potential starter
