Do you have a link to that announcement?
edit. I found an article. Jenkins's agent said he will arrive in Atlanta on Sunday and that Jenkins will be there as long as Kaepernick wants to work out.
This thread is terminal. RIP.

Thats where Kaep trained at before he was drafted, he wanted to get away from the bay area where he felt he would have too many distractions to get anything done

Why is Ck7 and the receivers training in atlanta for ? Just curious
He's working on his conditioning and his mechanics, delivery, footwork, accuracy, etc. The receivers are there for conditioning and to develop timing with him and his passes. I'm told that the more you catch passes from a given QB, the more comfortable you get with the ball in its trajectory and speed.
Bottom line: he's dedicated to the game and we should all be happy.
Just like anything in life. Practice makes perfect.
pretty sure he was asking why the location
Theyre in Atlanta because Kaep knew that he wouldnt have gotten anything done if he stayed home. Wouildnt have been able to focus on training. His parents said it in an interview.

They're in Atlanta because it is the best city in America for the black athlete. Tons of strip clubs, tons of rappers live there, and they have a lot of parties too. That's why he in Atlanta. It's athlete paradise. Lots and lots of bbb(big booty bi**ches)

Both Chad Hall and Ricardo Lockette are from the Atlanta area. Jenkins is from Jacksonville so it's a lot closer for him. But I'm sure the titty bars and rappers had something to do with it too.

Glad AJ is going to Atlanta. Glad he's going to be getting extra reps with Kaep.
I guess we need to give him time to mature. So often, we expect players to be ready to contribute right away (and some are). Remember, Crabtree's first 2 years were anything but impressive.
Overall-- gotta have faith in Harbaugh. His other high-round picks have been pretty good (Aldon, Colin)

crabs had a contract hold out plus injuries. jenkins was beat out for field time by chad hall and tedd ginn jr. thata being said i am willing to give the kid another chance but we damn well better not be setting here talking about his lack of production, dropped passes , deer in the headlight look at the end of pre season. if we are then our golden boy coach and front office need to actually admit they made a mistake

Can't be fun being this cynical and negative all the time.

JGatz, I agree with cc 100% on this one, and I don't think this is being cynical or negative. It happens to be the truth. I keep telling myself, "hey our guys know what they are doing". And then I remember Rashaun woods....a 49er heartbreaker...who preferred fishing to football. But he wasn't baalke/harbaugh pick. Aldon, Kap, LMJ, Miller....they have made some really nice picks. But this one, not being able to beat out Ginn....well, that doesn't bode well. Dropping balls, not knowing routes....uhhnnn...that wasn't what coach/GM were thinking when they drafted him. I grant, something is weird here, because Fleener was an obvious pick and would have helped this past yr. Still, I am hopeful, and whatever happened to AJ, man I sure hope it gets fixed. Like cc, I won't be a happy camper if in 2013 AJ remains a bust.

He is just a kid gotta give him an off season, especially with the QB of our future. The fact he is willing to put in the work and has something to prove will only turn into good things. He will be a part of the offense next year, we still need a big WR on the outside.
