I disagree with the miller non holding call. Look at the kickoff in real time. If thats not holding then I guess u can sandwich a player and hold?

There is no holding on a double team unless he goes to the ground. Yeah, the players are holding but it's a double team and the rule states that it's not a flag unless the player is taken to the ground. If it was straight up blocking and that happened then yes a penalty should've been called, but not on a double team.
Wouldn't be surprised if they change the rule this offseason, but the refs didn't make the wrong call in this game.(on the return, there were questionable calls on other plays.)

But our anger with the refs won't go away because they do decide games.

I cant stand the apologist attitude of "Well at least we had a great season guys. Proud of this team!" All that fluff means nothing.
We had a great shot to win a 6th title, and we blew it. Who knows when we'll be back. I dont see how any Niner fan can be satisfied with this season. Its encouraging the way were progressing, but the end result was the same its been for the last 18 years.
This is exactly how I feel.

I missed it, you missed it, the broadcasters missed it, even the post game analysis missed it. On 3rd and goal, Delanie Walker is just standing all by himself all alone in the endzone and Kap never saw him! Crabs was in motion from the left side running to the right. The CB covering him started running way too late. Kap saw that the CB was coming late so he locked onto Crabs. Kap gave a three step drop and fired the pass to Crabs, who couldnt hang on, but wouldnt have scored anyways.
What Kap didnt see was that the CB coming over was supposed to cover Walker, but didnt. Walker ran a curl route and was just standing there one yard deep in the endzone all alone. I'm surprised he didnt bust out his phone and tweet that he was just standing there by himself with no one covering him. Should Roman have called some runs on the final drive? We can debate that ad nauseum. Yet the fact is that Kap did what Alex Smith is famous for doing and didnt see a guy wide open in the endzone. Except this was with the Super Bowl on the line. Yes Crabs was held on 4th down, but there never should have been a 4th down.
Every single QB in the league misses wide open targets sometimes. It doesn't happen often with Kaep.

I would rather have failed in the NFC Championship game again.

of course this is the truth, we are just another team that ended the year with a loss and the sad thing is that , with better play calling, it did not have to happen.

I waited to cool down and have many reasons why. The 49ers seem to be getting out game-planned by the better teams. They make great halftime adjustments but they sleep walk into games.
Whitner is a liability in coverage. He is great in run support but his pass coverage is really bad.
Culliver had a bad game and a down season but he has the talent to play a lot of ball. The matter of poor judgement had nothing to do with this bad game.
Aldon needs to get smarter and get stronger. I think Fangio needs to help him out with his planning, but guys like LT and Bruce Smith and Reggie White understood how to stay ahead of of blocking schemes. I wonder just how bad that shoulder is? Having a guy like Haralson back would help him late in the season. He can also help himself by focusing on becoming a better player this offseason instead of screwing around.
Ginn's daddy wants him out of the Bay? Bye.
Moss. I said this before after the Green Bay game and even started a thread that got thrown out but I saw flashes of the old Randy all season long. You can say that he was great mentor and motivator and maybe he was but he sure did take plenty of plays off. In the Divisional game he let up on that throw to the end zone. the old Randy who wanted to score goes up and catches that. And Kaep's pick in the Super Bowl was again lazy Randy. These aren't the only two instances. If you have the film go back and watch it. ALSO, for most of his career, Randy would go up after a ball and attack the throw. Do you recall him really leaving his feet much this year...like ever?
LaMike. This was the Super Bowl against a good defense that gets after the ball. Three points of pressure son.
Roman. Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde. I don't think I need to explain the analogy. He goes from great drives and great 3 call series of down to "What the F-CK are you calling that for" play calls. The last series of downs was just crap. The 2 point conversion play call was crap. I like the guy, he is really good most of the time but Freddie P. Soft takes over his brain sometimes.
Lastly, I'm disappointed and think we did more to lose than Baltimore did to win. We played two opposite halves and that needs to stop. That was a great, great game. The 49ers has a ton of young talent and with continued great drafts, smart FA signings and keeping some of our own (Sign Crabtree NOW, haven't seen a receiver with yards after contact since John Taylor), they can win for a long time. The window will be open for some time with this young QB we have. We need to appreciate how good he is and how good he is going to be. Its really kind of scary but that was only his 10th start. Luck, RG3, Weeden, Tanneyhill and Wilson have all started more games! I wouldn't trade Colin for any of them.
