1. Keapernick. In the Falcons game, I saw Colin doing a lot more on the fly play adjusting (ie. audible) than in games past. This is both a good thing and a warning sign. On the one hand, CK is now showing the ability to adjust at the line similar to what Alex was doing earlier in the year, which given his physical talents could be deadly. On the other, it means Atlanta may have had the right calls for the right plays, signalling defenses are getting closer to figuring this offense (pessimistic view). I'm going with the former, so I'm expecting the Ravens may start standing more people up at the line of scrimmage pre-snap in a show of respect to Kaep's head, not his arm and legs.
2. What run game, read-option wrinkles will Roman install? In the Packers game, the read options gave 2 alternatives: Kaepernick to tuck and run outside or Gore up the gut. In the Falcons game, they completely switched it up and started having RB's come across formation and giving the Kaepernick read to be RB outside, pass, or Kaep up the gut. Is there a new wrinkle they haven't shown?
3. Trench warfare. The last time these two teams met, Baltimore seemed to get the better of the line of scrimmage the majority of the time, can the 49ers flip the switch this time around? Iupati on Ngata is a matchup I'm interested in seeing.
RANDOM THOUGHT: All the Canadians on here will know what I'm talking about, but this style of read-option offense has been employed in the CFL (Canadian Football League) for years.
