The Playoffs are a new season. I'm not worried about an WWL.
Technically, we should tie the game because this has been the pattern:
Win, Win, Loss
Win, Win, Loss
Win, Win, Tie
Win, Win, Loss
Win, Win, Loss
Win, Win, _____?

I guess that would mean that the Falcons would take us to Double OT

No. Someone pointed this out earlier... We will TIE in regulation. As the refs mentioned in the BAL/DEN game, the start of OT during the playoffs marks the "start of a new game". Which we will win according to our season-long streak. And we all knows what comes after that first win...

This s**t bothers me, but lets try and look at the positive. The pattern would indicate that we would tie this game. Since a tie is impossible in the playoffs, that automatically means that this exact pattern will be broken no matter what. A loss would follow more closely with the pattern, because we have played bad in every third game, but again it wouldn't follow the exact pattern, which would be a tie. Hopefully this means that we get the W and not the L.
In other words, the pattern has already been broken before the game has even been played. Hopefully that means the monkey is already off our back.

I'm as worried about this stat as I am about the fact that we lost to Seattle, and Seattle lost to Atlanta, therefore we have no chance against Atlanta.

The pattern suggests a TIE indeed. being that ties are impossible in the post season, one must conclude the pattern WILL BE BROKEN. The pattern has run it's coarse.

Winner. It's true. It's Science.
Seriously, we got embarrassed in those games because the team got full of themselves after big wins on the national stage and all the love they got in the press. I don't see that being a problem here. Everyone knows that they lost this round last year. The urgency should be there.

I put zero stock into it whatsoever. I think it's nothing more than human beings wanting to look for patterns and meaning in something that has no significance. I think the WWL is a coincidence, nothing more, nothing less.
