Niceee. All well deserved. Too bad none of them will be able to play there seeing how we"ll be in the SB.

last year 3 seahawks got in alone based off of niners not going to the pro bowl, lynch, chancellor and browner made it because gore, goldson and rogers did no attend after the nfc title game

and that is why it is a super bowl or bust mentality. a lot of our best players are in years 6, 7 or 8. our window is not that big with this group. doesnt mean we cant replenish the system like pittsburgh and baltimores have done over the years, but there is a sense of urgency i feel and it makes losing in seattle and more than likely the bye really concerning.

bingo. last season we had a similar amount of pro bowlers and alternates, nobody cares now though

Staley again eh .. lots of people here think he is vastly over-rated. I think he is decent just not Pro Bowl worthy. I guess he is getting the vote because he is a bit of a character and people recognize his name on the ballot.

Wow nine pro bowlers and eight alternates, amazing! good chance Brian Jennings ends up doing the long snapping also. I'm sure at least a couple of these alternates end up making it due to injuries or players in the SB (hope none make it because we are in the SB obviously) I wish Brooks make it, would be cool to see all 4 of our LBs go. Really says something that with only 2 ILBs both our boys are going.

In addition, Boone, OLB Ahmad Brooks, OT Anthony Davis, TE Vernon Davis, C Jonathan Goodwin, P Andy Lee, CB Carlos Rogers and special teamer C.J. Spillman were named Pro Bowl alternates.
