Matt Barrows @mattbarrows I think if they had liked Edwards, they would have signed him by now. @bigsurge86 Any chance we sign Ray Edwards?

No news of a signing yet but Matt McCoy worked today and has some gnarly knee injury last year. He could be Dobbs' replacement but I'm not sure what he'd offer as he is an LB and not a DE or TE.

LB Matt McCoy, an eight-year vet, is scheduled to work out for 49ers on Tues morning. He went on IR with Seahawks last season w/knee injury.

This might be a good opportunity to sign a player off of another team's practice squad.

that it would but off our own PS I would think that we could elevate any of these guys
DT Tony Jerod-Eddie - Dobbs was seeing decent PT as rotational DT so it might be nice to get this guy some reps
pair him with any of these guys for ST value
LB Alex Hoffman-Ellis - Definitely for ST value, as I think he is an undersize MLB?
WR Chad Hall - WR and KR depth and gunner maybe?
WR Ricardo Lockette - WR depth and gunneer?
OLB Cam Johnson - Kick coverage depth and get him some in game snaps as an OLB or pass rushing specialist.
