The season is our hands.
We make the playoffs or we do not, but please no excuses.

Crazy as it may seem that's possible now. But the other thing is it stacked a loss on GB. And we are also fighting GB potentially for the #2 seed. Right now we have a 1/2 game lead on them. Without the Seattle game they would be ahead. So if we can win out it may actually help us. That GB has another loss. You don't want to go into Lambeau in January.
on the other hand, if we lose the division, it also puts the packers another game behind us for a wild card spot.

espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8423928/...right-call-end-game-green-bay... it was reviewed by a replay official, and by the league, and ruled the right call according to the rule..
whether it was a blown call or the right call, it's a done deal, to blame the seahawks team, coaches , players is silly...
there are several articles , pictures, video, to validate one side of the argument or the other, but to say that one play single handedly will cost any body anything is simply not true.. there were several crucial missed calls against both teams in that game that may have very well cost either team the game... there have been several contriversial calls in games since against GB, SF and Seahawks that may or may not have cost them those games...
so to say that one play, (which was the right call IMO) might effect anybodys playoff chances or playoff positions is simply not true.. The Seattle victory may, but not that call..

all it would show me is that we did not take care of our stuff like the rams games. which were clearly winnable for us. the giants and vikings were lost causes cuz the whole team went off the cliff those two days

Win out and get the #2 seed and a bye. This team is really beat up this year. We need that bye week. I hope we can get it. We got to stop dropping games left and right from stupid Kaep mistakes and Akers missing every FG he tries. We would be in strong position for the #2 seed if we stopped doing that.

Seattle's win against GB may actually help us. The bigger mistake was/is starting Kaep over Smitty!

When the hawks 'won' that game, I knew it was going to come back and bite us later in the season.

If the Niners win out, it just doesn't matter. They can do it. They can beat the Dolphins and Cards at home. They can run on the Patriots and the Patriots have problems with defenses like the Niners. They can beat the Hawks in Seattle (both the starting corners for the Hawks will probably not be playing.) And, if they get that far, Colin Kaepernick has four more games under his belt and two weeks to prepare for a playoff game. The idea was to add an element of explosiveness to the Niner offense and possibly, with that extra element, to get to the Superbowl.

We don't even need to win out. We just need to win 3 of the next 4 games and we win the West.

With how Seattle started the season combined with their road and division record there's no excuse for this te even be a race. We should own this division but we keep dropping games to garbage teams and that is nobodys fault but the 49ers. I'm not even going to consider the idea of the 49ers not making the playoffs. No excuse what so ever with the amount of talent on this team.
No excuses from here on out. The team and coaches had better bring their A+ game the rest of the way. No more room for error. Clean up the penalties, stop turning the ball over, and start imposing their will upon every team we face from here on out. I want this team playing angry the rest of the way! GO NINERS! F'ing Rams!!!
