Any update on Walker, Hunter, and Williams??

Looks like Jenkins will crack the roster. I bet Jacobs get's the nod over James. If James could field punts he would suit up. But I think we're going to see some serious ground and pound on sunday.

I bet we wont see hunter until the post season. High ankle sprains have a nasty way of hanging around and a RB needs that ankle. I think yesterday was knocking the rust off of Jacobs. I'm not worried about him at all.

Who knows, with fresh legs, Jacobs could be a huge addition at the end of the season. Especially with Gore who appears to be slowing.

What game are you watching?

He did have several good rushes towards the end of the game, but his average was pretty low. Kaep had to convert several long 3rd downs. But honestly, the stats don't support my assertion...

Date - Yards - Yd/Att
9/9 - 112 - 7.0
9/16 - 89 - 5.2
9/23 - 63 - 5.3
9/30 - 62 - 3.0
10/7 - 106 - 7.6
10/14 - 36 - 4.5
10/18 - 131 - 8.2
10/29 - 55 - 3.4
11/11 - 97 - 4.6
11/19 - 78 - 4.6
11/25 - 83 - 4.4

So it's not a significant drop, but his per-carry average has slipped recently.

He got 83 yards last game... Which is exactly his average per game this year
not worried about Walker at all but I want some updates on Hunter and Ginn. With KW out for the year we need Ginn healthy to return kicks and I hope the hand issue doesn't keep him out against the Rams. Hunter missing a game or 2 isn't that bad but we need him in full swing. Thank God we have Jacobs/LMJ and Jenkins ready to go

Just make Gin inactive due to injury and activate both rooks to take KW's and Ginn's spot already!
Damn it looked like a season ender on the field for Williams, hope the guy recovers and comes back stronger next year.

That gives us zero experience in the return game. No thanks man I want Ginn. With Hubter and Williams hurt the rooks will be active anyway
Alex Smith should return punts.

Matt Barrows ‏@mattbarrows Hearing Kendall Hunter's ankle injury is serious. Injury comes at a time when #49ers must decide whether to activate Jewel Hampton from NFI.
Matt Barrows ‏@mattbarrows #49ers trying to figure out whether or not to put him on IR. @49Ashleys What is serious? Out for the rest of the season?
