Anyways until the team or Harbaugh starts expressing frustration with Jacobs IMO he can tweet away.

OK then.. Go slander your company in public and make sure the bosses see it, and see if you remain employed... Companies have rights as well, like the right to hire and fire whoever they want for pretty much whatever reason they want.

I guarantee you that Jacobs will not be on the roster next year...mark my words....

To the bolded and this is the last time ill comment about employment being its been taken out of context, that all depends on the state and whether its a right to work state.

To the unbolded, Im right there with you being he is only on a one year contract and more then likely next year Harbaugh will feel Gore, Hunter, LMJ and Dixon are more then enough RB's for this team. Personally I wish we would have kept Cartwright over Jacobs, he didnt do to bad with the ball in the pre season.

Wrong. Regardless of the state, if you do something that negatively impacts the company they can fire you 'for cause'. Whether it is a right to work state or not only determines if they can fire you 'without cause'. Slandering your company in public would certainly qualify as a 'for cause' termination ANYWHERE.

I actually had high hopes for Jacobs, but now he is just an open sore on an otherwise great team.
Id trade this oaf for Constanzo.

I'd trade him for a bag of peanuts

yes i have read them, and I do believe he was talking about a family members boss, hell I talk about my wifes and sisters bosses on fb and twitter all the time, and my boss is a friend on both accounts and I usually speak in general not pointing out names or saying that its a specific persons boss. My boss doesnt question me and co workers dont feel im talking negative about my boss when they dont know because they dont "ASSUME THEY KNOW WHO IM TALKING ABOUT"...... Thats all. Keep assuming all you want Im not telling anyone how to feel about this guy i just think its another over reaction by the 49er fanbase, similar to everything thats happened to Aldon in the last year.

You aren't a pro athlete. Or are you?

Is a whole bag of peanuts asking too much? How about if I throw in a couple bucks?

Nope, my back went out and got struck with epilepsy before my third high school season at WR. Just a mechanic, my grandfather was though.

Not premature in the slightest. Celek is the only person that has even touched the field. Draft was aweful. Any spin otherwise is extreme homerism to protect the image of Harbaalke. They failed this year. You cant make any comparisons to past years because you know what? our draft pics contributed. Not so much this year. This is not college football where the rookies coming in should redshirt. This is the NFL. Even the patriots get use out of draft pics as rookies, yet we are so deep we can aford to not have a single player from our draft contribute? please.

Thats a pretty bold claim to make when you really have no idea whats going on behind the scenes. Neither do I, but I do know are #1 and #2 picks were spots we are deep at right now, but next year may not be so deep, Gore isnt getting any younger and although he is having a damn good season, for the past two games he has gotten X Rays for minor issues, what happens when one isnt so minor anymore, it happens almost every year for a couple games. Or next year when the depth at WR drops by two players, Jacobs is only a one year deal. We arent the Patriots or any other team, were developing our high picks for a good reason, LMJ and Jenkins were both small and not entirely fit for the NFL but that doesnt take away that both are talented and after some real development for those talents to translate to the NFL. But Im just a homer defending Harbaalke I guess.

Neither can even crack the roster for special teams. Your telling me its OK that Dixon has more value to the team then our second round RB from 2012? LMJ has bust written all over him.

I Happen to like Jenkins but feel any WR was a reach at that pick, especially considering the talent that could have been had and made an impact from day 1.

Martin was there if we wanted Gores replacment. Thats not hat they drafted LMJ to be. A scat back with no special teams ability, and an average at best receiving game is just simply not that valuable in the NFL. Not to mention there wasnt much differance in talent from the WR's drafted in the first to the WR"s drafted in the second.

The rest of the draft is non existant as well. I will not give Harbaalkie the benefit of the doubt on this one. They simply messed up this draft. No two ways about it.

What dont some of you get? You cannot have your entire draft class non existant in their first year in todays NFL and call it a succesful draft. doesnt work that way. Spin spin all you want, but even the deepest teams in this league find rookies that make an impact. Thats why Teams like the Patriots stay on top. It just doesnt work like that in the NFL, and if you think it does, please show me an example. This draft IS hurting this team THIS year. I hope it doesnt come back to haunt us in the future.

Thats part of the problem with this draft. They let key special teams players leave and didnt replace them with young versitile players in the draft. Constanzo would have contributed more than our #1 and #2 draft picks do.

Right To Work has to do with an employee not having to join the union at his place of work. I think you're referring to "at-will" employment.

And you're right, Cartwright was a better player and better fit, although I'd rather that money have gone towards perhaps keeping Constanzo and/or C. Jones.
All this angst that draft choices can't get onto the active list is so funny! A few years ago they couldn't find enough NFL players to fill the roster but now have an abundance. Who would you sit for Jenkins and James? Gore, Miller, Hunter, Dixon (STs), Moss, Williams, Crabtree, or Manningham?

As for Jacobs...let him tweet but if they need him he'd better play his rear end off!
