I know he's probably not happy he's not playing but, some of the garbage coming from him is starting to get annoying. Time for Jacobs to shut his mouth and deal with it like a big boy. Or, send his ass back to NY...

This smells of crap, start to end. Who the heck asks a question like that on twitter?...especially when everyone knows how Jacobs feels about his current position. This guy was trying to get Jacobs to say something, and it was bound to be negative by all accounts.
It looks like the 49ers have to pay Jacobs his entire 1.5 mill salary, regardless, so I guess they will keep him...even with the big mouth. Again, he knew what he was getting into when he signed the deal with a team that already had 3-4 RBs.
Plus, it's the bye week, so all kind of stories make headlines.

Nobody forced Jacobs to sign the contract. If anything, he should be grateful he gets an extra year in his career that so far has been a great sabbatical for him. But as for his tweets, he's a professional athlete, of course he wants to play. I'd be worried about him if he was NOT lobbying, trying to get on the field somehow.
But imagine worse case scenario: Gore goes out and Jacobs steps in. Now he is angry, he has something to prove, he'll show you he's good enough.

I talked to him(MM) about it he said he wanted to talk to Jacobs about it. He said he wanted to see if Jacobs would clear up what he meant by it. I thought he(mm) was being a real decent person and trully professional about it. It's what I'd want someone to do if I said something kinda dumb on twitter.... Got to realize if he outs everyone all the time he isn't the guy that Moss gives the only interview too...

Dixon is the backup to the #2 Halfback. He's the guy on the roster. What do you want me to say, cut him? If they had found a better option, they would have replaced him. Yes, there is a rookie but they seem determined to redshirt him. It doesn't invalidate the rest of the argument, which is Jacobs is there as Gore's backup.
