If Alex can hand the ball off better and stop going 18/19 pass attempts, then maybe he would get more playing time.

When Harbs gets wind of this...

You are right Sir ....Jim is not going to put up with this $hit , personally , I wouldnt dump him until the end of the year , keep his ass on the sidelines all year and let him b***h and get paid , the last thing we need is a pissed off 265 lb RB coming at us in the playoffs

if he can convince Jim it was merely some mild frustration , and show he is sincere and wants to be part of a team effort, I'm sure he will stay a 49er ...then he has to produce when his number is called .....and so far , Moss has been all about the team , even throwing some mean blocks, which he NEVER did when he was with the Vikings ...funny everyone thought Moss would have been the first one to whine around about playing time

I thought he said he had been hacked on 20 September? ''Sorry for all of the dm's but I guess I am hacked.''. Two tweets later ''Can anyone assist me on changing my password on twitter.''

I don't really know how Tweeter works, but if someone hacked him once i'm sure they still have the info to do it again.
tell him to learn how to catch the ball out of the backfield if he wants to play on this team.
odds of his account being hacked less than .01%

You'v never been hacked?

Odds of a 2 time Superbowl winning RB leaving his team b/c he doesn't want to take a pay cut and going to the 49ers, witch is now his old teams most hated rival.. a little over .01%

Just my opinion, but I think this guy's role on the team is as an emergency backup for Frank Gore. Frank Gore is absolutely vital to this offense, which is built to dominate with the run and control the line of scrimmage. We don't want to suddenly find ourselves deep in a playoff run and see it get sidetracked because Frank Gore gets hurt. He is that important to how our team is built.

If Gore goes down, Kendall Hunter does not step up into that downhill runner, smash-mouth role. He is a different, smaller, faster kind of player. He is the cornerback to Gore's Strong Safety. Kendall is lightning, Gore is thunder, Jacobs is backup thunder. He is also Heavy Thunder, a short yardage specialist. Dixon is backup lightning.

It's unusual to have a starting caliber halfback like Jacobs as your backup. I think you only do that if you absolutely know the Championship is a definite possibility for you. And it definitely is for us. That's why we have the lowest cap space in the league. Our coaches, front office, and ownership wants to win this thing NOW. This year. Look how close we were last year. We're even better today. You don't take a flyer on a veteran like Randy Moss if you're rebuilding. You absolutely go for it when you know you're one of the top 4 to 6 teams in the league and absolutely have a chance at winning the Super Bowl.

With the new stadium licenses for sale, with such an excellent all-around talent pool on both sides of the pool, this team is built to win a Championship immediately. Last year got away. Next year might be possible, but it's less likely than this year. Our focus is to win NOW.

Nobody forced Jacobs to sign the contract. If anything, he should be grateful he gets an extra year in his career that so far has been a great sabbatical for him. But as for his tweets, he's a professional athlete, of course he wants to play. I'd be worried about him if he was NOT lobbying, trying to get on the field somehow.

But imagine worse case scenario: Gore goes out and Jacobs steps in. Now he is angry, he has something to prove, he'll show you he's good enough.

I am not worried about this one.
I spoke to MM...he's is going to ask Brandon about it when he sees him. Probably to give him a chance to explain it.

So I'm sure JH will know soon if he doesn't arlready.

Although I don't think it was wise of him to Tweet those comments, I think some of y'all are going overboard....

Screen captioning tweets and sending them to beat reporters so the guy can get in trouble?

Going out of your way to end a next man's job. If he's on his way out, let him do it himself, don't go tattle-telling like you're a member of the 49er PR staff. Sheesh!

In a nutshell, he's telling the truth. Gore and Hunter are rolling right now, and Dix is valuable for ST. The guy just won a superbowl and he aint playing right now. Let him b*tch about it, he still aint getting in
dixon is not valuable for special teams or any other teams in my opinion but he is what we got. hopefully the good things we saw monday in regards to special teams will be the way it is for the rest of the year

I personally think he said enough. He addressed the comment and left the speculation as to what he meant out of it.

Who's this susweel guy? You'd think with that many posts I would have seen a comment from him before. Musta lost a name change bet or something...

edit: almost forgot to post something of substance (I would hate to gobble gobble like a funk-jive turkey goobler). I think MM walks a fine line b/w being in the team's back pocket and putting out good stories. He definitely seems more cautious since he went corporate.
