Gio Carmazzi--love that name, and he was the next Joe Montana! Sacramento native.

for some reason I keep getting this feeling we'll be bringing in Manny back down the road....maybe alittle later in his career.

This.
Actually, it would have been nice if Rod Woodson worked out.

Deion had the best season of his career with us. Only reason I didn't categorize him as "didn't pan out." I suppose you're right though. We might have won another ring or two if he had stayed.

If Vic Fangio retires maybe because the reason why we didn't keep Manny to begin with was because Fangio wasn't impressed with him. Manny had potential but the fact he wasn't a good pass rusher irritated the hell out of me, he relied more on QB hurries than sacks.

Clements. Can't think of another guy that I hope would make a big impact and fell flat.

Meh
Paraag tricked him. He made like 38 mill lol
Clements' deal includes $42.5 million in salaries for the 2011-15 seasons. The 49ers will not have to pay that money after releasing Clements. The 49ers knew this day was coming from the moment they signed Clements in free agency back in 2007. The deal was heavily back-loaded, but initial reports still focused on the potential $80 million total.
