The fact is yesterday he played like s**t and was the MAIN reason we lost the game.
The point is it annoys you. ;-)
Just started it in week one so keeping it going.
Gonna call big fat BS on him being the MAIN reason the Niners lost. They were down 7-0 before he even got on the field and the Niners couldn't stop the Vikings on 3rd down all day. He was certainly a factor in the loss, but they lost that game in all phases.

Very telling (and amusing) that his "running tally" starting from the Eagles game looks so good that it upsets you so...
I could actually make it look much better if I started with the "We Want Carr" moment in the game or if I just removed the Eagles game altogether.

Thats BS. Ponder was pressured in the game but he was CONSTANTLY able to avoid the rush, make a pass, or run it for a gain or TD. The Niners could have gotten more of a rush, but they got there several times and Ponder just eluded them. Give him credit. He played well.
Free pressure coming right at him?
I'd have to watch again....but on several occasions Aldon broke free and just couldn't catch a scrambling Ponder before he threw the ball downfield to a TE or WR. They just couldn't quite get there before he was able to unload. As I said before...credit has to go to Ponder for completing those passes while getting chased.
Ponder did an amazing job scrambling around to buy time and hit an open receiver. There were multiple times where he hung in there and took a hit whole getting the ball off. Even though the Niners had no sacks, they were getting good pressure for the most part. Just a step late. Don't even get me started on the holds...

It doesn't really annoy me, I actually find it humorous that you have to take a small size to prop him up. But thats cool I just think its irrelevant to thoughts after re-watching game thread. But its your thread do as you please.
Also when you only manage 10 points on offense and the running game averaged almost 6 yards per carry the QB is to blame.

The Whitner dropped INT turned out to be quite important. He had a lot of green in front of him, not sure he could have punched it in, but if the O could have, there was a lot of time on the clock...
Flat...Flat is just spot on. Thats how the players looked, the coaches...even Harbaugh didn't have the same intensity and fury as his team was playing pretty terrible at times. He looked far more pissed when the 49ers were winning the last two games...go figure
The INT, Miscommunication I hope, that throw was just awful, no chance for crabtree to catch that in the rout he ran but if he was supposed to run a stop route for instance because of the audible for example, then it may have been the right spot...
Overall, I'm not panicking, I've accepted that at some point Gore was going to fumble, Alex was going to throw a pick, the Defense would play less than perfect etc. This stuff was going to happen. But this is only week 3, we have 13 games left and a great combination of leaders who can and will motivate this team to play like they have the last two weeks
I've been less than a KW supporter since the NFC Champ game...But good for him, he did his part and the offense wet the bed after the long return
Anyone else notice the spot was a little off too, these Refs just arent ready for the speed of the game. phantom face masks and the like...

Another glaring stat is the possession time difference. The Vikings had the ball for nearly 7 minutes more then us. That's huge!! Again our D just couldn't get off the field and that was a BIG reason why we lost.

The Niners not being able to stop them reminded me of the Manusky days :(

That was a BS unnecessary roughness call on Goldson. He turned his back to guy as he hit him. He let up.

The announcers even said if he hadn't have slowed it was still legal because his shoulder was what made contact.

It was unnecessary. The TE had already given up and took a step an a half. No need to blast him shoulder or not.

Not trying to prop him up. If thats all I wanted to do I'd eliminate 2010 altogether. I am simply of the opinion that something changed in him that night. His attitude changed and his performance changed along with it. You are free to find it humorous just as I find it humorous that you would put the loss at his feet when the ENTIRE TEAM played so poorly.
Nuff said.

Not accurate and you know that. The D got shredded on a consistent basis. We gave up a rushing TD to f**king Ponder...no AP...but Ponder.

I will be curious to see if he gets fined this week.
