No, but if we get behind, we're in trouble. Our offense is built to grind and move the chains. We struggle at striking quick.

You said Grind, Move with chains. Huh! Huh! Then you said struggle.

We are not over rated. We are limited. There's only so much we can do with the current personnel and there's only one position we didn't upgrade. Almost every aspect of the offense has been upgraded and we are still seeing the same results. Hmmm.

Not overrated, just overconfident. Can't get comfortable, we won a lot of games by being more physical than our opponents, so when we sit back and wait for them to bring the hit to us like we did Sunday we will get beat four out of five times. Good things is it's easy to fix, just have to stay hungry.

Over rated? Under Rated? The way the NFL is set up it does not matter, the team that's hot coming into the playoffs is the Now team. It's impossible to up and healthy for 16 games. The key, that I see, is utilizing the full roster and having everyone contribute to cut back on fatigue and injury.

I think we're over-rated only because we really dont know how good the competition we've faced really is.
The Packers are 1-2 and although they should of beat Seattle, they certainly didn't look like the high powered offense of last year (How good is our D?)
The Lions are 1-2 and lost to the Titans in a shoot out. We did beat them handedly.
The Vikings are 2-1 and smoked us. I really dont put the d performance on the players as much as I put it on the coaching. I dont think our D played sloppy, its just that guys were running wide open. That to me is a scheme issue, not to mention Ponder played out of his mind.
Thats why I think any rating is silly at this point. Its like trying to predict strenght of schedule at the begining of the season.

Yes but as the season goes on, you begin to see that GB and DET have issues and now I'm thinking we should have blown them out.
Remember, I did give him credit but also mentioned that the plays worked as planned and his WR's were VERY open in those first 2 games. I got flamed for saying that. I also said I want to see how he performs when the coverage is better or the Defense is smarter.
I got my answer: he's limited.
One could very well say the same about your posting history.

Patrick Willis, Justin Smith, NaVarro Bowman, Carlos Rogers, Tarrell Brown, Aldon Smith, Vernon Davis, Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree, Mario Mannigham, David Akers, Andy Lee, Delanie Walker, etc. And don't forget Tedd Ginn Jr and Brandon Jacobs who haven't even played yet. And I expect to see more of Kaepernick, James and Jenkins as the season progresses. Before anyone goes and says we are overated they need to remember the insane amount of TALENT we have on this team. There's too many quality players to even name them all. It's week 3. Seattle should have lost on Monday and anyone who things the Cardinals are the real deal is just insane. That will all work itself out in time. No need to worry. I think we are going to completely dominate the Jets in a statement game and all this "overrated" talk will go away. We had a bad game. Not a big deal. It's beating the good teams that counts because that's what we will need to do in January, and we have already shown that we are pretty damn good at doing that.

Of Smith's 92 pass attempts, four have traveled 20 yards or more downfield and tight end Vernon Davis was targeted with the other three deep balls.
Until Alex can find a way to throw more than 4.35 percent of his passes more than 20 yards we ARE overrated. If 95.65 percent of your offensive passes are the dink and dunk variety it's only a matter of time before you are exposed. Mark my words. Until this is corrected we are not going to sneak up on anybody. The offense is not getting it done and just like last year, we put way too much pressure on our defense. It's not balanced football.
