How bout the Vikings just outplayed us and had a better gameplan, occasionally this happens you know. The media Lauded us as the next super team and had us going 16-0, I dont think we think that way about oursleves and anyone on the team who was guilty of reading the press clippings just got brought back to earth. Id rather be right where we are mentally, let them jump on everyone elses jock while we slide through subtly and punch them in the mouth.

We are not over rated. We are limited. There's only so much we can do with the current personnel and there's only one position we didn't upgrade. Almost every aspect of the offense has been upgraded and we are still seeing the same results. Hmmm.
Yes but as the season goes on, you begin to see that GB and DET have issues and now I'm thinking we should have blown them out.
Remember, I did give him credit but also mentioned that the plays worked as planned and his WR's were VERY open in those first 2 games. I got flamed for saying that. I also said I want to see how he performs when the coverage is better or the Defense is smarter.
I got my answer: he's limited.
You know what else is limited? Our OLine. Our WR core. It's a trifecta of limitations which you guys somehow place solely on him.
OLinescuses and WRscuses is all I'm hearing. And Defenscuses this game.

I think the Pats are really the only team that can't complain about their OL.
But here's Ponder's reaction to him having to run around throughout Sunday:

We are who we thought we were. Were the best team in the NFL. People cant freak out over losing one game, every team loses at some point every season. At least now the team got a wake up call. They will play like a Super Bowl team the rest of the season.

Remember there was a 3 game span last season where we were 1-2 with loses @ Bal and @ AZ. Road games are tough, and Minnesota played damn near flawless.. Had we lost in that fashion at home would be another story..

Stop believing media hype.
That was the players mistake, maybe Harbaugh too.

Maybe the loss was what they needed to diverge the media love and get them closer to playing as the underdog which they seem to thrive as. Wonder what the point spread will be vs Jets.
