Props to Kyle Williams

Ginn should be back this week, so who knows when the next time he'll return a punt will be. Ginn sure is a fragile tho. must be italian.

I didn't realize we are supposed to congratulate people for not making costly errors
He sure looked a lot better and more confident out there. The best thing I saw him do all day is not field one and RUN AWAY from it instead of run into the bouncing ball and let it go off his knee like the usual Kyle Williams technique.... I think we got the ball at the 6 yard line. But that play showed he has been working on technique and stategy in the offseason with special teams coaches instead of repeating the same mistakes. And he actually looked pretty sure handed. That being said I was a nervous wreck on every single play he received a punt. LOL.

He also seemed pretty comfortable out didn't look too nervous or jittery.

Didn't do a whole lot as a WR but an overall solid game.

Yeah, he had a really nice game setting us up nicely and not making any mental errors; and he's a threat every time he does touch the ball as a returner and esp. as a slot WR. But the thing that stood out the most to me was his poise. He had Ginn-like confidence back there as a returner. And is there any point in having a kickoff returner anymore? LOL

People forget he was a rookie returning punts in crappy Candlestick conditions in emergency duty last year on a HUGE stage (and coming off a concussion). He seemed mental! Naturally with added focus and practice and consistency and health, like Alex Smith, he suddenly looks better. Odd. LOL

mhmm
Kyle Williams is an excellent return man. Thank God we got Hunter out of there, he is terrible. Kyle Williams will break a long run more often then not on both punt and kick returns.

I hope we keep him in there, at least on punt returns. He is really beginning to find his groove.
He was one of the best players we had on the field. Who would have thought?

The media was saying Ginn might come back next week but I am of the opinion that after these past 3 weeks that he has re-earn the right to start as pr/kr. Williams has been lights out for us so far this season.
