Well, he really only fair caught and let the ball bounce into the endzone but Williams looked unflappable and seemingly has forgotten his woes from the NFCCG. And although we won't be so quick to forget those woes, wins like yesterday ease the lingering pain.
Hopefully Ginn is back against DET but I'm ok with Williams back there for now.

The one time Williams did return, it was big. He returned a punt 20 yards just before the end of the half. This led to Akers' record-tying field goal. The three point meant the Niners were two scores ahead to start the 2nd half.

His 20 something yard punt return really helped us in getting into position for Akers to kick his record tying field goal.
He also seemed pretty comfortable out didn't look too nervous or jittery.
Didn't do a whole lot as a WR but an overall solid game.

He didnt have any miscues, he even directed traffic when the ball hit the turf so no niner would mistakenly get pushed into the ball.
Good job by kyle, still makes me nervous back there though

I don't think that'll ever go away with him. Kindda like a battered wife always expecting the right hook during an argument.
Ginn has been the only return man in the past decade or so that I've been comfortable with.

Can't lie - fingers and toes were crossed everytime they punted to him. Remember letting out a big sigh of relief when he let the ball bounce into the end zone. Hoping the feeling subsides over the course of the season to the point I don't notice it anymore - but not sure that can ever happen.

I remember Jerry Rice making mistakes early in his career against the Giants in the playoffs. I hope Kyle bounces back like Jerry did.
