They are, but they aren't difference makers that have the ability to swing the momentum in games. In that case Donte Whitner should be on that list.

The air must be thick in here. He was making a point that when our running backs break big gains, a lot of the time it's due to a 'game changing' block by one or more of our offensive linemen. But you keep thinking that our OL is unimportant or that they aren't playmakers or game changers. Everyone thinks that because Gore had the ball in his hands for a momentum swinging play that Gore is the game changer there. It's not always the case. How about when he never gets touched because there is a 5 yard hole for him to run through at the LOS?

And my point is lineman aren't one's to be momentum swingers in games. (Or at least get noticed for it)
