Maybe it is Alex Boone kicking out and Leonard D or Looney filling the RG spot as he does. That's what I'd be inclined to do.

Yep, there is our 8 plus we keep Jewel Hampton who was on IR along with Darius Fleming.

Looks like Konrad Reuland got signed to the Jets 53 man roster by them claiming him. And Mike Person made the Colts 53 man roster. Looks like we either didn't want Owusu back or he wanted to sign with the Chargers PS instead.

Could have done without one or both of those DEs.. I can see us dumping one of them at some point to add a darkhorse.

I'm really happy with how the 53-man roster out. Tough to see guys like Jones, Reuland, and Person leave, but this team is sooo deep. Even the practice squad looks very good.

Losing Person kind of stinks. We are very thin at OT now. I thought he was a solid backup OT and OG. We should of kept him and waived Celek, IMO. Glad to see Palmer, Johnson and Thomas on the PS

Wiggins is a Tackle on PS. He sorta replaced Person.... am I missing something...

I agree we should have a true back up Tackle, just imagine if Boone gets dinged early in a game and then we loose a Tackle later.

I know some will take this the wrong way, let alone to the extreme...but

Poor Josh Johnson...he really got played. I mean some must question Harbaugh's credibility when it comes to earning your role on a team.

I have liked Tolzien since we first got him...and I still do....but I don't know how I'd look Josh in the eyes as if something wrong didn't happen.

If making the team was based off training camp and preseason, it seems Josh would've got the nod. I wonder what is going through his head. It must've been a long shot for him to make the team since he got here.

well at least he is leaving here a better QB, imo...he looked good out there in his final appearance.

Only remember seeing Wiggins as RT, where I think Person had more ability as a LT or RT. Guess the fear is more about a LT backup, as we have more options at RT. I think Boone can step in at LT or RT just fine. He would be far better depth at those spots than what most teams have as an OT # 3.
