If you get up one morning and your car doesnt start do you throw it away? No you send it to a damn mechanic because a car has a lot invested in it.

You invest in players the same way.

how do you explain the 18 cars on my neighbors lawn then?

You live next door to some rednecks or Mexicans?
Who ever they are ..looks like their investments weren't that great

Maybe they have a shadetree mechanic in the house?

its one of those rednecks who thinks he's mexican because his white grandma had a 1 night stand with a mexican so he's maybe a quarter mexican but has a mexican flag tattoo a bald head always wears whife beaters and looks like a skin head.... DAM SHAME!

Hop off the wagon dude. If it wasnt for the KYLE WILLIAMS block on the DE when Alex ran for that touchdown vs the saints, we would have never even made it to the NFCCG. He is a GOOD player and he will be on the team this year and probably many more years.

He made a blindside block on a big play. It was a good play for sure, but any receiver in the NFL makes that block.

It was Staley and it was an excellent open-field block on a smaller, quicker player. I think Staley made the probowl on that play alone. Because everyone was watching that game and specifically that play.

You have yet to respond to the statements made by Jim Harbaugh the head coach of the SF 49ers. Sounds a lot like the fans who said Alex wont be back when Harbaugh first came and said he likes Alex.

How's he supposed to respond to that question when KW is still on the team? You honestly think Harbaugh is going to respond a question about KW, with "Well since he blew the NFCC he won't be returning punts anymore."

Easy. He would say we have a good group of tough young men ready to battle for that position and that's what training camp is for finding out who is the best at any given position.
Not sure how the question was asked, the response would vary in wording but basically it's not that hard to answer. The fact that he went out of his way to make a statement that he likes KW as the back up returner speaks volumes but you would have to take out your I hate KW ear plugs to hear it.
The fact that Jeddy said KW is his breakout player of the year also speaks volumes. He is in contact with both Harbaugh and Trent he knows how both feel about KW, I'm sure they all sat down and discussed what to do about him, I do not think he would tweet that if he thought or knew(like you do) that KW wouldn't make the team.

Whether or not I like KW or not doesn't change the fact that he's a below average WR. I haven't seen anyone make an argument that he's anything better. Harbaugh was asked specifically as KW and you know as well as I do that anything less would have been seen as throwing KW under the bus. That statement doesn't speak volumes because he didn't go out of his way to make it, he was asked a specific question. And Jed also guaranteed a NFC West championship in a season where we started 0-5. Part of Jed's job is to be a PR guy for the 49ers. Anything Jed says has to be taken with a grain of salt.
You may not have "seen" the argument, but it's been made, mainly by reporters who've directly viewed the off-season workouts that KW is the third-best WR now, behind only Moss and Crabtree.
As for last season:
Receptions
KW: 20
3rd best (behind Crabtree and VD)
Average yds per reception:
12.1
Behind only J. Morgan (14.7) and tied with Crabtree of receivers with more than one catch
TDs
3
5th
Rushes
2 for 16 yd. avg.
Average is best of any WR (Ginn: 8.5 avg)
Kickoff returns
4, 104 yds, 26.0 avg.
Average was behind Ginn at 27.6 and tied with Hunter
Punt returns
2, 41 yds, 20.5 avg
Average was first (Ginn had 12.3 avg)

Jenkins begins camp behind experienced receivers

http://www.csnbayarea.com/football-san-francisco-niners/niners-talk/Jenkins-begins-camp-behind-experienced-r?blockID=745415&feedID=5936

It's not often that a first-round draft pick shows up to TC with three proven players clearly ahead of him on the depth chart. But that is A.J. Jenkins' situation. The 49ers have three established wide receivers on the roster: Crabtree, Moss and Manningham. Unless there's an injury that keeps one of the top three players out of action for a while, there does not figure to be many chances for a fourth receiver to contribute. The good thing for Jenkins is that he can learn a lot about the game as a rookie behind the scenes. While Jenkins might not figure prominently into the team's plans this season, there is a lot of interest in his development because of his first-round status. The 49ers may have only four WRs active for regular-season game days with that fourth player -- more than likely, Ginn -- having a primary role as a return specialist.

There will inevitably be an injury in our WR core at some point, so he'll get a chance. But I'm not expecting more than 200 yds from him this year.

+1. The fun thing will be to see if Jenkins gets the nod? or someone like... Kyle Williams is still around and gets the nod over AJJ.
Why do people think KW is untouchable? What has he done in two years to make people think he is the next big thing? He had 1 more catch and 20 more yards than Ginn last year who people on this board say he's the worst WR on the team. He's a 5th string WR who can't handle return duties and has a history of injuries. The only reason he beat out RoJo was because RoJo had a major case of the dropsies last year in TC. If we were looking at options at QB even after Alex's "breakout" year then certainly a WR who only sniffed the field because of injuries wouldn't be safe. His name is Kyle Williams not victor Cruz.

i never said, he is untouchable.. i have just said. he has done nothing to warrant being cut at this point in time. right now he is 3rd or 4th best wideout. if he loses his job, it will be because he gets outplayed in camp and pre season and that is fine with me.. I do not think alot of people said he is untouchable but maybe i am wrong. i am just saying what i feel
I'm more interested in what happens at RG than 4th/5th/6th WR. Training camp is the time that I cross my fingers and hope we don't lose too many to injury.

Philly....

Yes because auto correct on an ipad during a train commute is an indicator of ones intelligence. Correct some more grammar and being more a tool you pedant.
For those of you who are into aesthetics and design the new nike uniforms are now being used in camp.I like how the pants pay homage to the originals and the hue is similar to the tan look as opposed to the yellowish look.
