I can't believe how quickly people forget the great season we had. Kyle just let it all go waste with those fumbles

You do understand that it was more than just Kyle Williams that lost us that game, right? You should go back and rewatch the game EXCEPT for the OT period, and tell me who really lost us that game.

Some of you seem to forget that Williams also did this in college, the guy is the ultimate choke artist.

I don't figure Harbaugh would risk a guy like Moss now. I think Ginn is doing pretty well so he is not going to do much to lose any vets. With the quality of his squad, he won't lose much by protecting key players. Teams have lost a few key players but if the niners lose some reserves, they just save some from cuts.

Harbaugh has a number in mind for the snaps each starter will likely receive Friday night, but he hasn't informed the team, and Smith sees it as a positive. "You start telling guys, 'Hey you get this many plays,' he starts counting down," Smith said. "Waiting to get out." With two of his top receivers new to the franchise this year -- Randy Moss and Mario Manningham -- you would expect Smith to want to build a connection with them in their first live action against NFL opponents. Smith shied away from setting goals with his receivers, instead saying he's just looking to get the work in.

Don't be disappointed if they use an offense that looks like Raye's, as they will not be showing their playbook as much as getting the kinks out of the basics. I'm looking forward to seeing if there is any chemistry apparent between all QBs and receivers...a bit early, but it would be nice to see Moss running some great routes.

Just wait for all the "Roman must go" threads after we play a conservative game.

Nah, Smith is just being his typically meek, "yes man".

But seriously, they do seem to be two peas in a pod.
My god people. Such hate and discontent. If I saw a "niner" fan booing a current player because he steps onto the field for a specific play I'd punch em in the mouth. I can see booing if the player botched the play but just for lining up?

I guess every loss needs a scapegoat. But people GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!
